IIST 2024 Rank List, Merit List – Check Rank for UG/ PG Here
IIST 2024 Rank List will be released in July 2024. The Rank List will be released for PG courses through online mode. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is a deemed university which offers various UG & PG courses. The institute provides education in the field of Engineering, Technology, Space science & applications. IIST did not organize any entrance test for admission to the above courses. The admission will be based on national level examinations, i.e. JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, JEST, etc. In this article, we have updated complete information about IIST Rank List 2024.
IIST 2024 Rank List
Authority will release IIST admission rank list 2024 through online mode on the website. Candidates will be able to check their rank card through the website of conducting authority. It will be made available only for candidates those have submitted the application form successfully.
Authority will release rank list for UG and PG courses separately in different dates. Candidates will be able to check UG rank list in July 2024. For PG Course, it will be published in May 2024 based on GATE. IIST 2024 rank list will be published according to the category.
IIST 2024 Cut Off will be released in May 2024 for PG. Cut off will be published through online mode. There will be two types of cut off, i.e. eligibility cut off and admission cut off.
IIST Admission procedure 2024 will be organized through offline mode for UG & PG courses. The counselling will be conducted on different dates for all the courses offered. As per the rank of the candidates in the respective exam, they will be called for the counselling rounds.
IIST 2024 Merit List
For B.Tech Course, IIST Merit List 2024 will be prepared on the basis of their aggregate marks secured in JEE Advanced 2024. For PG courses, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE scores for interview/ written test.
In the rank list, the details about date/ venues of the counselling will be released through online mode. Candidates should take a print copy of it for further procedure.
IIST Admission Rank list will be generated only for those candidates who register online for admission to IIST, Pay the registration fee and satisfy all the eligibility criteria.
After the publication of IIST Admission Rank list, the candidates must have to fill-in their choices of branch of study during October 2024.
How to Check the Merit List
Candidates should follow the given steps to check IIST Rank List 2024:
- Visit the official website. (Link will be provided above)
- Click on the link “Admission Rank List”.
- The result page will be displayed on the computer screen.
- Select your course.
- The merit list will be shown on the screen in a PDF format.
- Keep a printout copy of it for further reference.
Qualifying Marks
Candidates, those wishing to join B.Tech course in IIST must have to appear for JEE Main 2024 exam & then appear for JEE Advanced 2024 exam. Check below, the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE Advanced 2024:

Tie Break Rules
In case of same marks, the following tie-break rules will be applied such as:
- Higher rank is assigned to the candidate those have obtained higher marks in Mathematics.
- If this does not break the tie, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who secured highest marks in Physics.
- If there is a tie even after this, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who secured higher rank in JEE(Main)-2024 examination, in the respective category.

IIST Counselling 2024
Candidates will be called for the counselling process on the basis of the category wise rank list. IIST 2024 Counselling will be organized through offline mode.
Candidates can download their counselling call letter to appear in the counselling / interview process. It will be started for UG & PG courses.
During counselling, candidates will have to present their documents in person. Candidate’s documents will be verified by the counselling authority.
After document verification, candidates will have to give their choices of the programme as per their preferences in writing.

Hello i got 488 score in gate 2023 can I get seat in iist for vlsi or rf and microwave engineering

For non interview course at iist my rank is UR(87). Will I get admission in to that course
