IIT JAM 2024 Application Correction (Started) – Edit Form Here
IIT JAM 2024 Application Correction Window has been started from 24th November 2023 through login for making changes in application data. The examination of JAM 2024 is being conducted by IIT, Madras on behalf of Ministry of Human resources Development (MHRD). IIT JAM is a national level examination which is conducted every year. Candidates seeking admission in Integrated Ph.D programme at IISc or M.Sc & other post bachelor degree programme at IIT’s can apply for this test. IIT JAM 2024 Application Correction – Started
IIT JAM 2024 Application Correction has been started from 24th November 2023. Click here to edit application.
Correction has been opened from 24th November 2023 for making changes in application data. Last date will be till 30th November 2023.
The authority has provided the minor modification/ correction in the IIT JAM 2024 application form. Candidates who wish to make corrections in fields like gender, category, PwD status and exam city start it.
IIT JAM 2024 application form can be filled from 5th September to 25th October 2023. Corrections can be done only through online mode. Correction facility is not provided through any offline mode. The correction facility has been provided from 24th November 2023.
Requests for change of category, if any, with proper documentation, should be made latest by 30th November 2023. Requests received after this date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
To make correction in the application form, candidates have to enter their login credentials i.e. application number/ email ID or password.
After the scrutiny of applications, a list of defective applications is released. The list contains the Application ID, Candidate’s Name and Defects in the application. Candidates should check the list and if any correction required then do it immediately.
Fields that can be Modified:
The corrections/ modifications can be allowed in the following fields:
- Category Change
- Gender
- Exam City
Additional Fee for Change of Fields:

Additional fee can be paid through online mode only. Candidates can pay it via credit card, debit card or net banking.

How to Make Correction in IIT JAM 2024 Application
Candidates can make corrections in IIT JAM 2024 application form by following these simple steps:
- Go through the website (Link is given above).
- Enter login details such as Enrolment ID/Registration No. and Password.
- Click on Submit button.
- After successful login, click on the “Change Personal Data” option.
- Now, make corrections wherever required.
- Pay the application fee (if required).
- After submitting the modified details, must take printout of the application for further use.

no you don’t need to apply again. Officials will resend you a notification is there will something to rectify.

You can correct this on correction window meanwhile you should contact to the help desk of IIT JAM.

Sir, somedays ago I complete the formfillup of iit jam 2021 but 5 days ago I got a mail that my photo which I upload is not in order so I rectify it but when I check the status of the form there shown that you rectify your from so I want to know that when it accepted.

Respected Sir,there was a defect in the photograph which i had uploaded,so a mail had came to me regarding it’s rectification. The last date of that was being mentioned in the mail was 31/oct/2016. But yesterday i.e.21/oct/2016 I had uploaded a new photograph of mine but there was mentioned that ‘ rectification must be done before 20/oct/2016.
