IMU CET 2024 Application Form has been released. It is a university level entrance examination conducted every year by the Indian Maritime University. Eligible candidates will be able to get admission in various UG and PG Programmes. IMU CET stands for Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test.

Candidates can check the given section to know the IMU CET application form 2024 details:

• Only eligible candidates are able to fill out the application form, the form of non-eligible candidates will be rejected.
• Candidates must be careful while filling the application form as there will be no way to correct the submitted details.
• The university will allow the candidates to fill the form from 18th March 2024.
• There is only online facility available to fill out the application form, no offline mode is available.
• The online application form will consist of three portions such as personal details, academic details, and payment details.
• It is mandatory to upload the scanned documents such as photograph and signature in the specified format.
• Candidates must complete the application procedure before 5th May 2024.
• After submitting the form, candidates can take a hardcopy of the form for further usage in admission.

Application Fee:

• IMU provides online facility to submit the application fee.
• Online facility to submit application fee is credit card, debit card, net banking.
• The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

IMU CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The IMU CET Eligibility criteria 2024 is given below for UG & PG courses:

For Undergraduate Courses:

• Qualification: Applying candidates must qualify class 12^th Intermediate or equivalent from any recognised board.
• Subjects: Candidates must pass with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as a mandatory subjects to be eligible.
• Age Limit: For male general category candidates, the upper age limit must be 25 years, 28 years for OBC (NCL) category candidates, and 30 years age limit for SC/ ST category candidates.
• For female general category candidates, the maximum age must be 27 years, 30 years for OBC (NCL) category and 32 years for SC/ ST category candidates.
• Marks: At least of 60% marks must be scored by the candidates in PCM and 50% marks in English subject in qualifying exam.
• Relaxation: Candidates who are native of Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands will be given 5% of relaxation in English marks.

For Postgraduate Courses:

• Qualification: A graduate candidate in Mechanical/ Civil/ Marine/ Naval Architecture or equivalent from any recognized university will be eligible.
• Age Criteria: There will be no age restriction for IMU CET.
• Relaxation: 5% of relaxation will be given in eligibility marks (except English marks).
• Marks: Candidates must score at least of 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible.
• Eligibility Medical: The qualified candidates will have to submit Physical fitness certificate from registered medical practitioner.

How to Fill IMU CET 2024 Application Form

Here we are providing the IMU CET 2024 applying procedure including uploading of images & fee payment:

• Visit the website of IMU CET (Link is given above).
• Those registered candidates will have to start with the login direct.
• New candidates must start with the registration procedure by providing the details such as name, email Id, phone number, etc.
• The User ID and password will be generated after registration procedure which will be sent through SMS and email.
• Now start filling the application form with details such as personal, academic details, permanent address, contact details, etc.
• Upload the scanned documents such as photograph, signature, class 10^th marksheet, 12^th mark sheet, UG degree mark sheet, etc.
• Submit the application form fee through online mode only,
• Available facilities will be debit card, credit card, and net banking to pay the fee.
• Recheck and verify all the filled details in the form and submit it.
• Take a hardcopy of the application form for further usage in admission procedure.
