Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a university level entrance exam conducted every year. The university provides admission in various UG and PG programmes. Candidates who will qualify IMU CET will be eligible to get admission. The qualified candidates will get admission in different courses such as B. Tech, B.Sc., MTech, M.Sc., etc. There are five campuses where admission will be given to candidates located in Cochin, Mumbai, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, and Chennai, etc. In this article, we have provided details about IMU CET Application Form 2023 such as eligibility, fee payment, application dates, etc.

Following are details about application form of IMU CET 2023 with some key instructions below:

• The application form of IMU CET 2023 has been made available through online mode only.
• Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the application form.
• IMU CET 2023 application form has been released from 14th April 2023.
• Candidate must fill the application form with details such as personal, education qualification, phone number, etc.
• After filling the form, upload the scanned documents i.e., photograph and signature.
• The last date for submission of application form is till 23rd May 2023.

Application Fee:

• The application fee can be paid through online mode only.
• Candidate can pay the fee using net banking/ credit card/ debit card.
• Application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

IMU CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for IMU CET 2023 is provided below:

For Undergraduate Courses:

• Age Limit: The upper age limit for Male candidates belonging to general category will be 25 years; OBC (NCL) candidates age must be 28 years; for SC/ ST candidate age must be 30 years.
• The maximum age for female candidates belonging to general candidates will be 27 years; OBC (NCL) age must be 30 years; for SC/ ST candidate age must be 32 years.
• Qualification: Candidates must qualify 12th Intermediate or equivalent from any recognised board.
• Subjects: In qualifying exam, candidate must pass with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as mandatory subjects.
• Marks: The minimum marks candidates must obtain at least 60% marks in PCM and minimum of 50% marks in English subject.
• Relaxation: 5% of relaxation is given in English marks to candidates who are native of Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

For Postgraduate courses:

• Qualification: Candidates must be Graduate in Mechanical/ Civil/ Marine/ Naval Architecture or equivalent from any recognised university.
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least of 60% aggregate marks to be eligible for exam.
• Age Criteria: There will be no age restriction for IMU CET.
• Relaxation: There will be 5% of relaxation is given for in eligibility marks (except English marks).
• Eligibility Medical: All candidates who qualify for this course have to submit Physical fitness certificate from registered medical practitioner.

How to Apply for IMU CET 2023

• Visit the website (link is provided above).
• Already registered candidate have to click here to login.
• For New candidates they have to click for basic registration by entering details such as name, email id, phone number, date of birth.
• After basic registration system will generate User ID and Password which will be communicated to candidate through email and SMS.
• Then fill the application form with details i.e., personal, academic details, permanent address, contact details, etc.
• After entering the details, upload the scanned documents such as photograph, signature, 10^th mark sheet, 12^th mark sheet, UG Degree mark sheet, etc.
• After completing the application form, applicants have to pay the application fee.
• Candidate can pay the application fee through online mode only.
• For online mode, candidates can pay using Debit card, Credit card and Net banking.
• After payment, candidate can take the printout of the application form for future reference.
