INI SS 2024 Counselling, Qualifying Marks, Admission – Get Here

INI SS 2024 Seat Allotment (Open Round) has been released through online mode. All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) organized a counselling process for INI SS entrance exam. This is a national level medical entrance exam conducted to provide admission in D.M/ M.Ch./ and MD Hospital Administration (3 year PG medical) courses. The INI SS counselling is organized two times in a year in January and July month.

INI SS 2024 Counselling

The INI SS 2024 Counselling has been organized through online mode. The counselling commenced from 4th December 2023 for January session. The INI SS counselling consists of three rounds including an open round. Candidates who have qualified the entrance exam are called for counselling procedure. 

Students whose name appears in the merit list will be able to participate in counseling procedures. After a successful completion of all the rounds, seats will be allotted to candidates in the participating institutes.

INI SS 2024 Counselling Procedure

The INI SS counselling process includes the following steps mentioned below:

Registration

Candidates who want to participate in counselling will have to register themselves on INI SS Online Institute Allocation portal. The link for the portal will be activated only for eligible candidates in MyPage. For login, students can use their login credentials that has been issued for filling application forms and completing other processes. 

Choice Declaration

Candidates can make their choices of institutes as the INI SS Online Institute Allocation portal will allow candidates to make choices of institute as per their eligibility. There is no limitation on the number of choices (institutes) that can be made by students subject to eligibility. Choices can be edited and reordered within the specified date and time. 

Seat Allotment Result

All the students who have been allocated institutes in the 1st round are required to login to the INI SS Online Institute Allocation portal. Students can choose one of the following options within a specified date and time:

Option 1: Students accept allotted Institute and do not wish to participate in further rounds of Institute Allocation.

Option 2: Students accept allotted Institute and want to participate in the 2nd round of Institute Allocation. 

Reporting 

Candidates who are allocated institute are mandatorily required to report in-person (for reporting and or joining to allocated institute within specified date and time). Students are required to deposit original certificates or security deposit of Rs. 3 Lakh at the time of 1st round of counselling. 

Documents Required for INI SS 2024 Counselling

Candidates must carry the following documents at the time of INI SS 2024 Counselling:

• Class 10th Marksheet
• Class 12th Marksheet
• Registration Slip
• Passport size photograph
• Signature
• Thumb impression
• INI SS Offer letter
• MBBS/ BDS degree certificate
• Admit card
• Other documents: OBC/EWS certificate, SC/ ST certificate, PwD certificate etc.

INI SS 2024 Cut Off

The INI SS 2024 cut off is a minimum mark that must be scored by the candidates in the exam. There are different cut off marks at both the stages. Candidates have to score at least 50% marks in stage 1 and stage 2 to qualify the exam. 

If students obtain more than 50% in stage 1 and less than 50% in stage 2, then they will not be considered as qualified candidates. It is compulsory for candidates to score atleast 50% marks in both the stages. 

INI SS 2024 Seat Reservation

Out of total seats excluding those for Sponsored/ Foreign National candidates’ reservation as per Government of India norms shall be provided to students belonging to the ST, SC, OBC  and EWS. 

• Scheduled Caste – 15%
• Scheduled Tribes – 7.5%
• OBC – 27%
• EWS – 10%

INI SS 2024 Seat Allotment and Admission

The seat allotment process is done through online mode on the basis of both merit lists (CML/ AML). Institute wise synchronized allocation of seats is based on overall rank in CML/ AML and choices in order of preferences as filled by the students. 

Eligible candidates are allowed to fill online choices of INI and their order of preferences subject to eligibility as per both merit lists after declaration of result. The seats are strictly non-convertible/ non- interchangeable between different subgroups unless expressly given as per rules applicable at any of the participating INI. 

What After INI SS 2024 Seat Allotment?

Candidates who have allotted institutes in the 1st round are required to login to the INI SS Online Institutes Allocation portal and actively choose one of the following options within a given date and time:

Option 1: Applicants who accept allotted institutes and do not wish to participate in further rounds of institute allocation.

Option 2: Applicants who accept allotted institutes and wish to participate in 2nd round of institute allocation.

[In case if candidates choose option 2 and participate in 2nd round and they are allocated another institute as per their choice in 2nd round, then they have to join the institute allocated during 2nd round. Candidates who fail to join the upgraded institute shall lead to impositions to penalty of Rs. 3 lakh.]

There will be no option to refuse the allocated institute. Therefore, students are requested to fill the choices carefully otherwise candidates will be responsible for their choices. Once the seat allotment process is successfully done, all candidates who are allocated to the institute are mandatorily required to visit for joining the allocated institute within specified time and date. Also candidates are required to deposit original certificates or security deposit of Rs. 3 Lakh on notification of the institute allocation of 1st round at the time of reporting.
