The link to check the WBJEE 2025 result is now activated on the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates are required to enter their application number and password to check it.
Steps to Check WBJEE Result
- Go to the WBJEE website.
- On the homepage, scroll down.
- Look for the “candidates’ activity board” section.
- Click on the “WBJEE Result 2025” link.
- A candidate login window will be displayed.
- Enter the required details and click on “log in”.
- Your result will appear on the screen.
- Check your result and save it for further use.

WBJEE Result Hold Details
As per WBJEE board chairperson Sonali Chakraborty Banerjee, the WBJEE results were to be declared on August 7, 2025. No notice regarding the result date is available till now on the official website.
The Calcutta High Court has ordered the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) to issue a new merit list for JEE 2025, stating the existing one violates a court order on OBC reservation issued on May 21. The court acted after receiving emails from candidates.
As a result, the WBJEE 2025 results, which were to be released on August 7, have been delayed again. Contempt proceedings are underway, and the Principal Secretary of Higher Education has been summoned to explain the state’s actions.
The reason behind the delay in releasing the result is due to a Calcutta High Court stay on West Bengal’s updated OBC list, which added 76 new castes. This legal issue created uncertainty over reservation categories, prompting WBJEEB to hold the result until the matter is resolved. The stay was effective till July 31, after which results are expected to be announced in early August”.
