State Exam
In J & K, the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) is conducted by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations. This examination is conducted for admission in various undergraduate courses including engineering, medical and agriculture.
B.Tech Admission 2016
The JKCET 2016 is the main exam, which is organizes for Jammu & Kashmir B.Tech Admission 2016. All the Candidates who want to take admission in the government and private engineering colleges can apply for JKCET 2016 for admission in academic session of 2016-2017 and participate in J & K CET counseling 2016.
Students must complete 12th standard education with PCM along with English from a recognized university or board and secured at least 50% marks as aggregate (40% marks in case of reserved category). Appearing candidates in 10+2 class can also eligible to apply for JKCET 2016.
The candidates have an age limit of 17 years on or before December 2015 if they apply for JKCET 2016.
Beside this, candidates may also write the JEE Main 2016 exam.
Document Required
At the time of counseling, the applicants have to produce the following documents:
- Applicants must have domicile of Jammu and Kashmir.
- JKCET 2016/ JEE Main 2016 admit card & rank card
- Birth certificate
- Character certificate
- High School and Intermediate Mark sheet and passing Certificate
Selection Process
The procedure for Counselling of Jammu & Kashmir B.Tech Admission 2016 is given here:
- All the candidates have to pay non-refundable counselling fee through Point of Sales Machine (POS) by using ATM card/ Debit card.
- Aspirants have to register for counselling on the official website.
- All the aspirants will fill all the basic personal details that are given in the form.
- Aspirants fill the choices according their need of Courses and institute.
- After the submission, there is no changing of any detail so we advised the students to fill their choices correctly.
- Candidates must lock their choices and take a printout of the allotment letter for the admission and verification of documents.
- After all the procedure, candidates should be informed by SMS and email about seat conforming.
- Aspirants should go to the college for conform admission.
