How to Apply for JEE Advanced 2026

- Step-2: Click on the “JEE Advanced 2026 Registration” link.
- Step-3: Enter the details such as JEE Main roll number & password & press login button.
- Step-4: Fill the form by filling the personal, qualification & other details.
- Step-5: Upload the requisite document such as passport size photograph & other documents.
- Step-6: Recheck the filled details and submit it for further step.

JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility Criteria
It will be mandatory to fulfil the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form:
- Nationality: Candidates of India including OCI/ PIO will be eligible for exam. Foreign candidates will also be eligible to apply under 10% the supernumerary seat quota.
- Qualification: Candidates must qualify 12th level exam in 2024 & 2025 from any recognized board or university.
- Marks: To be eligible candidates must score minimum 75% marks in class 12th and 65% marks for SC, ST and PWD category candidates.
- Mandatory Subject: Applying candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as a mandatory subjects.
- Number of Attempts: Interested candidates will be allowed to give JEE Advanced exam only two times in two consecutive years.
- Age Limit: Applying candidates must bore on or after October 1st, 2000 for General and OBC category. For SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates, 5 years of age relaxation will be given.
- JEE Main Performance: To apply for JEE Advanced exam, candidates must be among the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main qualified candidates.

- Exam Mode: Exam will be held via online (Computer-based test) mode.
- Duration: Total 4 hours will be given to solve exam (4 hours for PWD category candidates).
- Number of Papers: 2 Papers will be there in exam – 1 & 2 (Both Compulsory).
- Subjects: From three subjects, the questions will be asked – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in exam.

JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card
Candidates will be able to download the JEE Advanced 2026 admit card from May 2026. There will be online facility available to download hall ticket from the website, no other method will be provided. Details such as candidates name, roll number, exam date, time, venue, date of birth will be provided in admit card.
Candidates are advised to keep the hardcopy of admit card safe for the day of exam. Authority will not allowed the candidates to sit inside the exam hall without having a valid admit card.
JEE Advanced 2026 Answer Key
JEE Advanced 2026 answer key will be released in the last week of May 2026. Candidates will be able to download the answer key from the website via online mode. Appearing candidates will be able to calculate their estimated scores using answer key. Response sheet will also be released by the authority on the website.
Facility to raise an objection against the answer key will also be provided. Objection window will be open for two to three days only. The final answer key will be released after analysing all the raised objections.
JEE Advanced 2026 Result
Authority will release the JEE Advanced 2026 result via online mode. Candidates will have to visit the website in June 2026 to access the result. Notification related to result/ rank will be sent by the authority to registered mobile number.
