Haryana DET 2024 Result/ Merit list will be released through online mode. Haryana Polytechnic admissions are organised every year by Haryana State Technical Education Society. Earlier the authority used to conduct Haryana DET for admissions. Now the test has been scrapped and admissions are provided based on merit scores. Qualified candidates get admission into various Diploma courses in Engineering/ Lateral Engineering and Non-Engineering. 

The admission is offered to candidates on the basis of inter-se-merit/ rank of percentage scored in secondary class or in equivalent qualifying examination. Qualified candidates get admission in various private and government polytechnic colleges located across the state of Haryana.

Haryana DET 2024 Result

The result of Haryana DET 2024 will be released through online mode. Candidates will be able to check their merit list on the website. To check the merit list/ result, candidates will be required to provide their application number and password. 

The result will be released in the form of rank card. The authority will also prepare a merit list of shortlisted candidates. These candidates will be shortlisted in the released merit list on the basis of their performance in qualifying examination.

How to Get Haryana DET 2024 Result/ Merit List

Candidates must follow these steps to download Haryana DET 2024 Result:

• Visit the portal link (link will be given above).
• Then, press on “Download Diploma Engineering/Pharmacy Merit Card” link.
• Provide the application number in the login window.
• Click on “Submit” button.
• The Haryana DET merit/ result will be displayed on the screen in PDF Format.
• Download the result and take a print out of it for future use.

Haryana DET 2024 Rankcard

The Haryana DET 2024 Rank card will be released by the authority through online mode. The rank card will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidates in their qualifying examination.

The rank card will not be sent to candidates through post, email or any offline mode. It will be made available on the authority’s website for download.

Haryana DET 2024 Merit List

The inter-se-merit list of Haryana DET 2024 exam will be released in fourth week of August 2024 for Diploma in Lateral Engineering courses. The merit list for non-engineering diploma courses will be declared in the fourth week of November 2024. 

Candidates will be able to view the Haryana DET merit list through online mode only. On the basis of merit list, candidates will be called for counselling procedures. The authority will prepare a merit list based on the marks scored in qualifying examination.

Tie Breaking Criteria

In case of a tie, when two or more candidates scores equal percentage of marks in 12th level examination or qualifying examination, then merit rank will be determined by applying the following Haryana DET 2024 Tie-Breaking policy:

• The elder candidates will be given higher preference.
• The name of candidates in alphabetical order will be considered.
• The father’s name of candidates in alphabetical order will be given preference.
• The mother’s name of  candidates in alphabetical order will be given preference.

Haryana DET 2024 Cut Off

The Haryana DET cut off 2024 marks will consist of minimum qualifying marks upto which the authority will allot seats.  The authority will release Cut Off through online mode. Candidates who will score more than equal to given cut-off marks will be eligible to get admission in Polytechnic courses.

The cut off of Haryana DET 2024 depends upon various factors such as total number of candidates applied, marks scored by candidates, number of available seats, previous year cut-off trends etc.

Haryana DET 2024 Counselling

The counselling rounds of Haryana DET 2024 will be held in first week of September 2024 for Diploma in Lateral Entry.  The candidates will be shortlisted for Haryana DET counselling on the basis of merit/ rank prepared on secondary school education or equivalent qualifying examination.

The admission to Polytechnic Diploma courses will be made through two online off- campus rounds of counselling. Candidates will have to fill choices of institution in order of priority. Candidates shortlisted will have to be present at the allotted institute as per the time indicated in provisional seat allotment letter.

Candidates will have to produce following documents at the time of counselling for verification:

• 12th standard/ qualifying examination marksheet and certificate
