Candidates who took session 1 paper 2 held on 29th February 2026, can now check the answer key via online mode. JEE Main session 1 paper 2 answer key pdf is available jeemain.nta.nic.in

This answer key is provisional. To check the answer key you are required to first login to the JEE Main 2026 candidates portal by entering your application number date, and password.

JEE Main 2026 Key Objection Facility

Along with the answer key, NTA has also provided candidates with the facility to object. The JEE Main 2026 answer key objection window is open for 2 days only, from 19th February to 20th February 2026, up to 11:50 PM.

The JEE Main paper 2A (for B.Arch) Mathematics, Aptitude Test has 75 questions, and paper 2B (for B.Plan) Mathematics, Aptitude Test/ planning has 100 questions.

How To Check JEE Main Answer Key 2026

Follow the steps given below to check the JEE Main Session 1 paper 2 answer key for 2026:

  • Go to the NTA JEE Main 2026 answer key
  • You will enter the website homepage.
  • Scroll down to the “candidate activity” section.
  • Click on the “JEE(Main) 2026 Session-1 Key Challenge for Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning)” link.
  • Now select the “login” option.
  • Enter the required details and log in to your account.
  • JEE Main answer key paper 2 will appear.
  • Check the key, if not satisfied, raise an objection.

As mentioned in the JEE official notice, candidates are required to pay an objection fee of ₹200 per question to challenge the answer key. Candidates can complete the payment via debit/credit card/ net banking. The objection is nonrefundable.

No candidate is informed by the authority about the acceptance and non-acceptance regarding their objection.

Once the authority closes the objection facility, they check the submitted responses. If they find any of the objections to be correct, then they release the final answer key. Based on key, authority prepares the JEE Main 2026 result.
