  10. Jpr says:

Iam writing my A levels under Cambridge board. Normally the exams are held during May – June. This year Cambridge is giving Indian students the option to write in Feb- Mar or during May-June. Students who write during Feb-Mar will be able to compete with students of other Indian boards and will be able to write all entrance exams, since the results will be out by April.

My school has registered my name for MPCB papers for Feb-Mar and for English in May-Jun. They havent conpleted portiond for English and we lost more than a month of schooling due to floods in Chennai. If I split my papers between Feb-Mar and May-June will JEE Main/Advanced board consider my English as an improvement exam?

My school says I can submit my AS level (+1 equivalent ) english marks. JEE ADVANCED eligibility says we must have English as one of our papers and only the 12th mark will be taken for eligibility. This is all so confusing, each one saying a different thing with not much consideration for students from Cambridge board studying in India and who want to do their UG in India. Can you please clarify as to how English paper has to be treated under these circumstances enabling me to appear without any hiccups for JEE MAIN and JEE Advanced. Pls respond ASAP so that I can talk to my school into getting me enrolled to write English paper too during FEB-MAR. Thank you so much for your time. Sincerely,
    JPR

    • Sarvgyan Team says:

yes you’re right…English Subject of class 12th will be taken into eligibility not 11th, so it will be good if you enroll yourself for Feb/March examination. Also you can talk to the JEE Main officials regarding that.7042399520, 7042399521, 7042399524, 7042399526, 7042399527, 7042399528,7042399529
