JEE Main Result 2019

Candidates can check the JEE Main 2019 Result only through online mode. Candidates Rank will also be declared along with the result. The score and rank of JEE Main 2019 January exam will be released in February, 2019. This score comprises of the actual marks obtained in Paper-I, candidates rank & cut off scores. The score & rank obtained by the candidate will be used for counseling & eligibility for JEE Advanced exam.

Rank comprise of All India Rank and All India Category Rank. Result is not provided through any offline method. The authority will not dispatch the rank card to any candidates. Candidates have to download it through the website. For the ease of students, we will provide the link in our article to check the result. After checking the result, don’t forget to take some extra printouts for further use.

JEE Main 2019 Cut Off along with the result & rank  will be released in February 2019. The NTA Board will release the cut-off through online mode only.

JEE Main 2019 Result Date

JEE Main exam will be conducted in different slots from 6th – 20th January 2019. The exam will be held through online mode only. After the examination, JEE Main Result 2019 for January exam will be released in February. Rank scored by the candidates will also be declared along with the result. JEE Main 2019 counselling wil be started from June 2019. Students can participate in the counselling process according to the JEE Main ranks. For counselling best of the two attempts of January & April exam will be considered.

How to check JEE Main Result

Here we have listed some simple steps to check the result:

  • Click on the official website link. (link provided above)
  • A new page will be opened on the screen.
  • Enter the mandatory details such as Roll Number and Date of Birth.
  • After filling the details, click on the “Submit” button.
  • The result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Check the result and take printout of it.
  • Candidates are suggested to take some extra printouts of the result for further admission process.

JEE Main Rank List 2019

JEE Main rank will be declared at the time of announcement of result. AIR rank is considered for admission through CSAB or JoSAA & other admission authority to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/SFIs/Others. Tie breaking rules is applied in case of candidates scores equal marks in the JEE Main exam. The tie breaking criteria is mentioned below:

JEE Main Tie Breaking Criteria (Paper 1):

Tie breaking rules for paper 1 are listed below:

  • Higher marks in Mathematic subject isconsidered for a better rank.
  • Higher marks in Physics subject is given better rank.
  • After that, positive and negative marks obtained by candidates will be considered.
  • If the tie still remains, same JEE Main rank is given.

JEE Main Tie Breaking Criteria (Paper 2):

Following methods is considered for tie breaking:

  • Higher marks in Aptitude Test is given better rank in the exam.
  • Higher marks obtained in Drawing Test is considered.
  • Ratio of positive and negative marks is considered for tie breaking.
  • It the tie still persists, same rank is given.

JEE Main Counselling 2019

On the basis of marks scored in the exam, students are able to participate in the counselling process. Counselling is done as per the rank secured by candidates. JEE Main counselling 2019 is organized by the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) & CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board). Counselling process will be organized in different rounds. Counselling will be conducted through online mode only. It comprises of various steps like online registration, choice filling & locking, seat allotment, fee payment & seat acceptance and reporting to the allotted institution.
