JEE Mains Rescheduled date 2026: As per the recent reports, the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam scheduled on 5th April 2026 will be rescheduled.
Recently, the Union Government has approved to reschedule it because of Easter Sunday. The step was taken after requests from the church authorities and community representatives.
Right now candidates are eagerly waiting for NTA to release the JEE Mains 2026 Admit cards for April session. Exams are scheduled between 2nd April and 8th April 2026 in CBT mode.
JEE Mains Rescheduled Date 2026
On 27th March 2026, the Union Minister of State for Tourism & Petroleum and Natural Gas, Suresh Gopi posted on Facebook considering Easter Sunday (5th April) of the Holy Week of utmost importance for Christians.
After which The Thrissur MP said that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan informed him over phone that the students who will not be able to attend JEE Main 2026 exam on Easter 5th April will be provided opportunity to apply for change of date.

Is JEE Mains postponed?
So the main question arises among students – Is the JEE Mains 2026 exam date revised?
Well the answer to this is not all dates are revised but for Easter (5th April). However, it is yet to be confirmed by National testing agency. So, students must contact NTA’s officials or wait for the authority to release notice.
Further the Union Minister has asked students to send their information by contact/ email – jeemain. [email protected] urgently who want to change exam date. Last date to submit application is till March 28, 2026.
