JEST 2024 Interview will be organised few days after the commencement of exam. JEST (Joint Entrance Screening Test) is a national level examination which is conducted one time each year. It is a screening test for admission into PhD. and Integrated PhD programs in Physics and Theoretical Computer Science/Computational Biology/ Neuroscience. JEST 2024 Interview/ Counselling
Interview process for JEST 2024 is expected to be started from the third week of April 2024. Those candidates who have successfully qualified the entrance examination and secured rank in merit list will be called to participate in the interview rounds.
The JEST 2024 Interview/ Counselling Rounds will be organised by various participating institutes accepting JEST scores. The exam conducting authority will not be responsible for conducting the counselling procedure. The counselling will be commenced through online/ offline mode depending upon various participating institutes.

JEST 2024 Selection Procedure
The JEST 2024 Selection Procedures will be done by various participating institutes as per their admission criteria. Candidates those have shortlisted based on the result, will be called for further procedure i.e. reporting. Admission criteria will be different for all the participating institutes.
Candidates will be forwarded to an interview round after verification of the documents. Candidates will be mandatorily required to attend counselling rounds organised by the institutes. The final admission will be offered to candidates based on their weightage in JEST exam and interview round.

JEST 2024 Cut Off
The JEST 2024 Cut-Off will be released by various participating institutes after the declaration of result. Candidates will be able to check the cut-off of JEST 2024 through online mode. Cut off will be tentatively released in second week of April 2024. The JEST 2024 cut-off will be minimum qualifying that candidates must obtain in the examination. Only those candidates who have secured minimum marks will be eligible to participate in interview rounds.
The JEST 2024 cut-off will be prepared on the basis of various factors which include number of candidates appeared the exam, number of candidates passed the exam, difficulty level of exam, number of seats available for candidates, previous year cut-off trends, reservation criteria etc.

JEST 2024 Seat Allotment will be made available by the participating institutes in the month of April 2024 after completion of interview round. The participating institutes will prepare a seat allotment list which will carry the names of candidates shortlisted in the interview rounds.
The seat allotment list will be released through online mode. The participating institutes will prepare a allotment list based on JEST 2024 scores, rank obtained, availability of seats etc. The selected candidates will have to reach the allotted college on the scheduled date and time for further procedure.
