JKCET 2024 Result, Merit List – Get JKCET Score Card Here

JKCET 2024 Result will be released via online mode. Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is the conducting body of JKCET. It is a state level entrance exam conducted for admission in various specializations of engineering professional degree course. The examination since 2022 has been cancelled. Admission was offered on the basis of 10+2 marks. Through Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET), candidates can get admission in the engineering institutions of J&K only. In this article candidates must check the complete details of JKCET 2023 result along with some other relevant information.

JKCET 2024 Result/ Merit List

JKCET Result 2024 will be checked through online mode. The result will be made available in the form of merit list. Candidates must check their total score and overall rank obtained by them in the result.

The answer key for JKCET 2024 will be published along with the releasing of the result. Candidates must check the results directly from the website.

There will be no need of any login credentials to check the result. Result will be declared in the form of merit list.

JKCET Counselling 2024 will be organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOSE). It will be started from August 2024.

JKCET Result Date 2024

The board will provide the JKCET result 2024 through online mode only. No other mode such as post or courier is entertained to download result. Merit List will be declared in July 2024. The result will be released in the form of merit list.

Candidates whose name appear in the merit list have to participate in counselling session. The process will be started from August 2024. Admission will be given to candidates after counselling process only.

How to Check Result

Candidates must check their results by following the process given below:

• Visit the official website link (Link will be given above).
• Click on the ‘Click here’ tab.
• The result will be displayed in pdf format.
• Result will display the candidates name and roll number.
• Check your total marks and secured rank.
• Download the pdf and take the printout for further use.
• Keep the printout safe till further use.

Determination of Merit

The merit list for each offered courses will be prepared on the basis of inter-se-merit & eligibility of the candidates. Merit list will be provided separately for open merit category and reserved category.

It will be prepared in descending order for the Open Merit Category and similarly for each Reserved Category separately.

Candidates will have to score the minimum qualifying marks in the entrance exam prescribed by the Jammu & Kashmir reservation rules.

In case of equal marks scored by the two candidates, inter-se-merit will be prepared by following ways:

• Marks obtained in Mathematics component of the Entrance test.
• Marks obtained in Physics component of the Entrance test, if marks obtained in Mathematics component are equal.
• Marks obtained in Chemistry component of the Entrance test if marks obtained in Mathematics and Physics components are equal.
• Candidate older in age if marks obtained in Math, Physics and Chemistry are same.

The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the filled course preference. Candidates will have to present in person on the counselling day along with all original documents. Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee also. It will be mandatory for all eligible candidates to participate in the counselling process.
