KCET 2024 Result will be declared in first week of July 2024. KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is held to grant admission to several UG degrees in Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, and other fields. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts this exam at  state level. The examination is held once a year. Admission is available in a variety of courses, including B.E/ B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, and others. Candidates seeking admission to Medical and Architecture programs must pass the NEET and NATA exams, respectively. KCET 2024 Result

KEA will release the KCET 2024 results through online mode following the successful completion of written exam. To access their results, applicants must enter their registration number. Candidates must print their results and keep them safe for next step in the admission procedure.

Candidates are granted ranks based on their result. The authority creates a merit list based on their results.  Applicants can view their results  to see how well they scored in their entrance exam and where they rank.

How to Download KCET 2024 Result

Candidates can see their findings by following the steps outlined below.

• Visit the conducting online website (Link will be provided above).
• A new page will appear on the screen.
• Enter your registration number (for example, AA001).
• Enter the security code.
• Select the “Submit” button.
• Your outcome will be shown on the system screen.
• After downloading the result, print it.
• Secure the result printout for further processing.

KCET 2024 Rank Card

Candidates must enter their CET number to view their ranks. Candidates will be able to check their spot ranks online at conducting authority’s website.

Spot rankings are presented for candidates whose results will be withheld for various reasons. In that scenario, candidates must submit their prior qualifying exam (12th) results.

Ranks are assigned in accordance with the KEA’s merit list. Seats will be assigned to participating universities based on candidate rank.

 KCET 2024 Merit List

Only qualifying examination applicants are included in KCET merit list. Following the release of final answer key, the merit list is created.

The merit list includes applicants’ ranks in ascending order. Candidates will be offered admission to their respective courses based on their assigned ranks. The merit list will be available to candidates via online website.

KCET Tie-Breaking Criteria

Check tie breaking criteria below for various courses:

For B.Arch: 

• If the candidates receive same marks in NATA, the merit will be made based on the marks earned in disciplines of Mathematics in the Qualifying exam. 
• If the tie remains, candidates’ ages are examined, and the candidate with older age receives the higher position.

For B.Tech & Other Courses:

• First, the marks obtained in Biology/ Mathematics will be examined. 
•  If the tie persists, candidates’ marks in Chemistry/Physics will be taken into account. 
• Even after this, if the still persists, marks acquired in certain topics in the Qualifying test will be taken into account. 
• If the tie cannot be broken, candidate’s age will be taken into account. The applicant with the greater age will be given a higher rank.

KCET 2024 Cut Off

KCET Cut Off 2024 will be available by online mode. Cut off marks will be announced alongside or following the publication of results. Candidates must acquire the minimal cut off marks in order to be considered for admission. Cut off marks for each category will be available individually.

Cut off marks will be determined by the authorities based on a variety of variables such as number of students who took the test, difficulty level of the exam, marks received by the applicants, and so on.

KCET 2024 Counselling

The authority will commence KCET counselling 2024 via online mode. It will begin in month of August 2024. Counselling will be determined by a number of elements, including online registration, document verification, seat allocation, and the issuance of an acceptance letter.

Candidates that are eligible must take part in the KCET counselling process. Candidates will be required to engage in the counseling process. 

Candidates will be assigned seats depending on their performance in the admission exams. During the counselling process, the candidate must verify all needed papers. Seats will not be confirmed to candidates unless their documents are verified.
