Component of Inspire, SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education) is a flagship course of DST under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The objective of this scholarship is to attract candidates to study basic and natural science subjects at UG & PG levels. Further it aims to pursue research as a career by providing scholarships to the meritorious students.

Inspire SHE 2024 Application Form

- Inspire SHE 2024 Online Registration has been started on 1st September 2024.
- The applications are accepted for scholarship through online mode only. No offline applications are accepted.

- Register by clicking on – ‘New User Registration’.
- Start filling your form by entering details – name, email, DOB, verification code, etc.
- Scan and store documents – photograph, class 10th/ 12th mark sheet, etc. before filling application.
- Login by entering details – username and password.
- Click on the option ‘Scholarship’ and then click on – ‘Apply for Scholarship’.
- In the next step, students are required to upload their documents (10th/ 12th mark sheet/ certificates, etc.).
- Verify details and proceed further.
- Choose option state/ central board from drop down menu.
- Click on ‘YES’ or ‘No’ button if you are availing any other scholarship or not.
- Submit the application and take print out of application form for any further reference.

For availing scholarships under Inspire, candidates can check complete Inspire SHE Eligibility Criteria 2024:
Qualification:
- Candidates secured ranks in JEE of IIT, AIPMT (within 10000 ranks), and who are presently pursuing Natural and Basic science courses in India at B.Sc, B.S, Int. M.Sc, M.S level.
- Meritorious candidates secure aggregate marks within top 1% of 12th level exam of any state/ central education board in India are eligible. Additionally, students should be pursuing courses in Natural and Basic Sciences at B.Sc, B.S, Int. M.Sc, M.S level.
- Those having aggregate marks within top 1% of their 12th level exam of any State/ Central Education Board in India and pursuing Int. M.S courses in Natural and Basic Sciences at IISERs, NISER & Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Basic Sciences University of Mumbai and Visva Bharati, Shanti Niketan.
- National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) scholars, Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) scholars and International Olympiad medalists pursuing Bachelor/ Master level courses in Natural Sciences are also eligible.
- Candidates selected under KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) and pursuing Bachelor/ Master level courses in Natural Sciences.
Age Limit:
- Applying candidate’s age minimum age must be between 17 years & maximum age should be 22 years.

Inspire SHE 2024 Selection Procedure
Students are selected for Inspire SHE 2024 only based on qualifying exam scores/rank. Scores of students obtained in 12th level/ national level entrance exams like JEE, AIPMT, etc. will be considered.
Meritorious candidates securing top positions/ ranks in various State Board or Central education board in India will be selected for scholarships.
Inspire SHE 2024 Cut Off
Students in their qualifying exam securing marks /rank equal or above the decided cut off will be eligible for availing Inspire SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education). The cut off will be announced online along with the merit list.
The cut off marks will vary for various state & central boards. It is released in the PDF form. The cut off is set based on various parameters. It will be available in the month of May/ June 2025.
Inspire SHE 2024 Merit List
The merit list of selected candidates will be available in May/ June 2025. The board will release the provisionally selected list of applicants of Inspire SHE Batch 2024. It can be checked online on the website.
Students can download the merit list in PDF format. The list of selected candidates will mention about reference no, applicants name, fathers name and remarks as ‘selected for provisional offer’. It will also mention names of candidates selected based on competitive exam qualified.
Inspire SHE 2024 Scholarship Amount
The students who will be successfully selected in Inspire SHE merit list will be considered eligible for scholarship amount. Scholarship will be offered to students for maximum of 5 years until the end of their course. Each qualified student will be provided Rs.80, 000 per annum.
The amount is segregated into annual scholarship Rs 60,000 and summertime attachment fee will be Rs 20,000. The annual scholarship amount of Rs.60,000 will be divided into Rs.5000 and deposited into student’s account per month. The authority will provide total 12, 000 Inspire (SHE) Scholarship.

Please tell me the period for uploading project for a year. How is it specified??
Last year, my friend submitted her project for second year after September and it was accepted but this year there is a rumour that deadline for uploading project is within September and some says there is no last date for uploading project. Amid this tensions, I am having issues uploading my project.
