PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research) is a private institute located in Chandigarh, Punjab. PGIMER 2024 Counselling
PGIMER 2024 Counselling is conducted in 4 rounds. Counselling has been started on 28th November 2023 and on 4th December 2023 for INI SS. Candidates need to appear physically for the counselling at the prescribed venue. Applicants have to pay a counselling fee i.e., Rs. 2485 for all category candidates before starting the procedure.
Students should bring their original and relevant documents with passport size photographs for the verification at the time of counselling. Admission is confirmed only after the verification of the eligibility and documents of the applicants.
Only those candidates can appear for counselling who have successfully qualified the exam. It is mandatory for all the qualified applicants to attend the counselling procedure. During counselling, candidates have to submit documents and verify the documents.

PGIMER 2024 Counselling Procedure
Candidates can check the various steps which take place for counselling session:
- Authority has released the qualified candidate’s list on the website.
- Applicants are invited for the counselling as per their rank
- Physical appearance of the candidate in counselling is mandatory.
- There are three rounds of seat allotment organized by authority.
- Candidates absent in first seat allotment are not considered for admission.
- Applicants those does not get a seat in the first round are eligible to apply for the second round.
- Students have to choose their preference in the counselling session.
- Candidates get seats in the institute as per their rank and preference course filled.
- For the first round of counselling, fee is Rs/- 2485. In case if aunty applicants want to change their speciality at the time of 2nd or 3rd counselling then they have to deposit Rs/- 1485.
- In each round of counseling, total number of applicants called is 3 times the number of seats available in every category.

PGIMER 2024 Cut Off are the admission criteria at which candidates get qualify. Authority shortlist the candidates if they get successful in securing minimum qualifying marks. Without qualifying marks, candidates are not eligible to take part in counselling sessions.

PGIMER 2024 Seat Reservation
Seats will be reserved as per category wise such as 22.5% of total seats are reserved for applicants belonging to ST & SC category. Out of total, 27% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to OBC category. 5% seats are reserved for the candidates who have worked in rural areas with less than 5000 population.

PGIMER 2024 Seat Allotment and Admission
PGIMER 2024 Seat Allotment takes place during the counselling session. Authority will distribute the seats to the candidates as per their filled choices.
If candidates does not get any seat in 1st round of seat allotment then they are able to get it the next round of counselling. Applicants should bring their original documents for the verification round.
What After PGIMER 2024 Seat Allotment?
After getting an allotment letter, applicants have to report at the allotted institutes in a given date and time. In case any applicant are not able to reach the allotted institutes then admission is cancelled and is given to the next applicants.
Applicants have to bring their seat allotment letter and documents in the allotted institute to confirm their seat. If candidates skip the counselling session then they are not able to get any seat allotment letter.
