Admission Procedure

The admission into law courses of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana will be based on national level entrance exam & state level entrance exam. The national level entrance exams are CLAT 2017, AIBE 2017. State level entrance exams of Andhra Pradesh are AP LAWCET 2017 & AP PGLCET 2017. Telangana state also conducts its own law entrance exam called as TS LAWCET 2017 & TS PGLCET 2017.

Entrance Exam

AP LAWCET & AP PGLCET is conducted by the Sri Krishnadevaraya University on behalf of APSCHE in the month of May 2017. On behalf of TSCHE, the Kakatiya University managed the TS LAWCET & TS PGLCET. The entrance exam will be held in the month of May 2017. Both exams are organized for admission into three years/five years LLB course & LLM course.

Law Admission 2017

AP LAWCET & AP PGLCET application form was provided 18th February 2017. Candidates who belong to Telangana state they can fill the TS LAWCET & TS PGLCET application form from 15th March 2017. Students have to fulfill the given eligibility criteria to fill the given application forms:

  • Candidates should be Indian Nationals and satisfy local/non-local status requirements.
  • Candidates other than Indian Nationals can also apply but they should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
  • Candidates seek admission into 5 years integrated law programme, they have to qualify 10+2 examination.
  • Candidates who want to apply for 3 years LLB programme, they have to pass graduation degree.
  • Candidates have to secure at least 45% marks (40% in the case of reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
  • Those candidates want to appear for AP PGLCET/ TS PGLCET, they have to complete the 3/5 years LLB/BL degree.
  • No age limit for law courses.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. Candidates will be called for the counselling procedure as per rank wise. Candidates have to register themselves by paying the counselling fee. Candidates have to produce their original documents at the time of document verifications. Candidates have to enter their college choices at the time of counselling. On the basis of the rank & choice preference, the seat will be allotted to the candidates. Candidates have to report in their allotted colleges in a given time frame.
