HPCET 2024 Application Form has been extended till 25th April 2024. HPCET (Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test) is state level entrance exam which is conducted every year. This entrance exam is organized by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur.

Candidates can get admission into several Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses after clearing this exam. Admission will be available in a variety of fields including Engineering, Medical & Management. Interested and eligible candidates are eligible to apply for the entrance examination. Candidates can go through the various details of HPCET 2024 Application Form mentioned below:

• The application form has been released through online mode.
• HPCET 2024 Application form has been made available from 18th March 2024. 
• Aspirants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the examination.
• Fill the necessary information in the application form such as communication, academic, qualification, personal etc.
• After filling the details in the form, candidates must upload a passport size photograph and signature in the specified format.
• Candidates must go through all the details carefully to avoid rejection by the authority.
• There will be no correction facility available for registered candidates by the authority.
• The last date to submit the application form is till 25th April 2024.
• Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.

Documents Required for HPCET Registration 2024:

• 10^th and 12^th class marksheet
• Candidate name
• Date of birth
• Valid email id
• Nationality
• Domicile
• Scanned passport size photograph, etc.

Application Fee:

• Application Fee can be submitted through online mode only.
• Online payment of application fee can be done through net banking, credit card or debit card.
• The candidates must know that the fee is non-refundable in any circumstances.

HPCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the exam, candidates should meet the following HPCET 2024 Eligibility criteria:

For B.Tech (Direct Entry):

• Nationality: The applying candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Qualification: Passed candidates in 10+2 examination from a recognised board or University will be eligible.
• Marks Criteria: Aspirants must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in class 12th.
• Subjects: Candidates are required to pass their qualifying exam with subjects such as Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics, Information/ Technology/  Biology/ Informatics/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/  Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship OR
  Candidates should have passed diploma (Engineering & Technology) obtaining atleast of 45% marks (40% for reserved candidates) subject to vacancies in 1st year, in case it is exhausted in lateral entry.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in 12th level will also be eligible to apply.

For MBA:

• Nationality: The applying aspirant should be an Indian to be eligible for the exam.
• Qualification: A graduate candidate with Bachelors degree from a recognised university/ institute will be eligible.
• Marks Criteria: Aspirant must have secured 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in the qualifying exam.
• Appearing: The appearing candidates in the final year will also be eligible to apply for the exam.

For MCA:

• Nationality: Indian citizens will be able to apply for the exam.
• Qualification: Candidates must hold BCA/ B.Sc (CS)./ B.Tech/ B.E or equivalent degree from a recognized board
• Marks Criteria: Applying aspirants must obtain 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in the qualifying exam.
• Subjects: Candidates must have Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 12th/ Graduation level.

For B.Pharma (Allopathy):

• Nationality: Applying candidate must be an Indian national.
• Qualification: Candidates should have passed 12th exam or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
• Marks criteria: Candidates will be required to score 45% (40% for reserved category) in the qualifying exam to be eligible.
• Subjects: The candidates must have Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects in class 12th along with one of Mathematics/ Biology subject.
• Age Limit: Candidates will be required to complete 17 years on or before 31^st of December of the year of admission to the course.

How to Apply for HPCET 2024

Here we have mentioned complete steps to apply for HPCET 2024:

• Visit to online website (link is given above)
• Press on “HPCET 2024 Registration Link” and provide basic details.
• An OTP is provided to the registered email id.
• Fill in the valid OTP, the message of “Email verified successfully” status will be shown in the webpage.
• Click on the “Login” link provided on the website.
• Provide asked details such as phone number, name, gender, aadhar card, date of birth, father’s/ mother’s name, educational etc.
• Now click on the “Browse” button and select the latest scanned passport size photograph with maximum 50kb file size in JPEG/JPG format.
• Select your scanned signature with maximum 30kb file size in JPEG/JPG format.
• Click on “Upload” button and the “confirm details” tab will appear.
• Now click on the “Submit” and proceed to the payment.
• Press on the “Online Fee payment” and select the payment method.
• Online application fee can be submitted via credit card, debit card or net banking.
• Submit the fee and download the system generated PDF of the application form.
• Take a hardcopy of application form for future references.
