State Exam

The admission to the B.Tech programmes in various engineering college of Madhya Pradesh is based on the JEE Main exam. The admissions in engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh state is done through JEE main exam. The JEE Main 2016 application form has been arrived in the month of December 2015.

B.Tech Admission 2016

Candidates wishing to take admission for the first year engineering courses in top engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh must score well in JEE Main 2016 examination. The B.Tech Admission 2016 is done on the basis of rank scored by the candidates. Eligibility criteria for this exam are as follows:

• For admission in B.Tech first year candidates have to meet the JEE Main 2016 Eligibility Criteria to appear for the exam.
• For Madhya Pradesh B.Tech 2016 counseling, candidates must have passed 10+2 from the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Board or any equivalent exam from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
• They must have studied Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects with Computer Science/Biology/Chemistry /Biotechnology/ as the elective subjects in their SSE.
• Candidates must be permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh and must meet the MP domicile requirements.

Documents Required

From JEE Main exam to admission in B.Tech, the candidates need to carry a set of documents with them. Following are the documents list needed while JEE exam, counseling and admission process:

• 10+2 mark sheet and certificate
• Category Certificate
• Domicile Certificate
• JEE Main 2016 admit card
• JEE Main 2016 score card
• Printed allotment letter, taken after counseling

Selection Process

For admissions to various engineering colleges of MP in B.Tech courses the candidate must have given JEE Main 2016 exam, the admission in B.Tech will be done through counseling. For counseling candidates will have to complete their document verification at the designated help centres, they will have to register and fill their college choices and lock them by the specified dates. The seat allocation for colleges and B.Tech branches will be on the basis of the JEE Main 2016 Merit Rank. After seat allotment through counseling, candidate will have to report to the allotted college after downloading the allotment letter provided by the counseling website. They must confirm their admissions as per the specified time schedule.
