Admission Procedure

In Karnataka, no state level exam is organized for offering admission in management courses. Students can apply for admission through national level entrance examinations. For admission, students are also required to appear in the group discussion (GD) or personal interview (PI) rounds organized by the respective college authority.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Science and National Institute of Technology consider the CAT (Common Admission Test) exam for admission in management courses. • Students appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
• Students must have obtained minimum 50% aggregate for general students and 45% aggregate for reserved categories.

Selection Procedure

First of all, candidates are needed to qualify the national level entrance exam for admission in management courses. After examination, students are required to clear the personal interview and group discussion round. Candidates will be invited for counselling on the basis of merit list. In counselling process, students will choose the colleges and courses where they wish to get admission. On the basis of choices filled by candidates, rank and availability of seats, the seats will be allotted to students.
