Admission Procedure

Students will get the admission in all the states of Delhi NCR on the basis of national level entrance test, i.e. NEET. From 2017, the entire state level entrance exam will be cancelled for admission into MBBS/BDS courses. All the state colleges have to accept the NEET score card to get admission into Medical/Dental programmes.

Entrance Exam

All the students who want to get admission into Medical course, they have to appear for the NEET exam. NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. It is a national level entrance test managed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The entrance test was held on 7th May 2017.

MBBS Admission 2017

Students can get the NEET application form through online process only. The application form was announced in the 31st January 2017. Students can fill the NEET application till 1st March 2017. The eligibility criteria are given below to fill the NEET 2017 Application form:

  • Indian & OCI students can apply.
  • Students have to complete 17 years on or before 31st December 2017.
  • The maximum age limit is 25 years (30 years for SC/ST category) as on 31st December 2017.
  • Students have to qualify their 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board with PCB.
  • Students have to score minimum 50% marks for General category & 40% marks for SC/ST category.

Selection Procedure

The selection of students who pass the NEET examination through centralized counselling for 15% all India quota seats. The counselling is organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) & Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). For 85% state quota seats, students have to appear in the counselling procedure which is conducted by the state colleges separately. The state colleges only have a permission to conduct the counselling process for state quota seats.

  1. Can i appear in state quota counselling if i didn’t get all india rank under 15 %?What should be marks gained to get at least delhi college for mbbs if u live in delhi for every category?Please reply.I hv already left counselling becose of this misunderstanding.I want to get sure.

  2. Weather candidate residing and studying in Noida will be eligible for 85% Delhi NCR quota seats or he will be eligible only for 15% All India level quota
