Entrance Exams

Meghalaya state quota seats are filled through NEET UG 2023 score. Minimum percentile required to qualify NEET for general is 50%, 40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% UR PH. The concern authority release the merit list of candidates eligible for counseling process.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be citizen of India.
• Candidates age should be 17 years on 31 December 2023.
• Candidate must be permanent resident of Meghalaya having domicile certificate.
• Candidates must have passed 12th standard in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English with at least 50% in aggregate. Candidates will have to also score at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry &Biology in 12th standard.
• Candidate must have qualified NEET UG 2023 obtaining required minimum percentile.

Selection Process

Candidates who are wishing to get admission in state quota seats of medical institutes of Meghalaya have by NEIGRIHMS. Candidates who are permanent resident of Meghalaya and have secured the qualifying percentile in the NEET 2023 UG examination are eligible for Meghalaya MBBS 2023 admission. Merit list is based on NEET 2023 score card. Candidates who have filled the online application form are included in the Meghalaya MBBS 2023 admission merit list. Candidates whose name are in the merit list have to attend the counselling session. The mode for counseling is online. Counseling is conducted in one round. Candidates have to report individually at the allotted college. Candidates have to bring their original certificates/documents along with the self-attested copies and passport size photographs at the counselling Centre for verification.
