Admission Procedure
Nagaland MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of NEET 2023 score card. There will be no separate state level entrance exam conducted for medical admission. The state only organize a centralized counselling for 85% state quota medical seats.
Entrance Exam
NEET UG is the national level medical entrance exam conducted by CBSE. Interested candidates can apply & appear for the NEET UG 2023 exam. Conducting board release the result on the official website. After the announcement of the result, board release All India Cutoff & NEET State level cutoff. NEET state level cutoff is used for admission in MBBS/BDS programs in various medical & dental colleges of Nagaland state.

Nagaland MBBS/BDS Admission 2023
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates of Nagaland origin must have domicile certificate.
- Candidate must have completed 17 years of age on 31 December 2018.
- Upper age limit is 25 years with relaxation of 5 years for candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH categories.
- Candidates must have passed 12th standard in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology with at least 50% in aggregate (40% for SC/ST category and 45% for SEBC). Candidates will have to also score at least 50% in Biology/Biotechnology in 12th standard.
- Candidate should be medically fit.
- Candidate must have qualified NEET 2023 with minimum percentile.
Selection Procedure
The allotment of 85% Nagaland State quota seats is done on the basis of NEET 2023 score. Interested candidates have to fill & submit Nagaland MBBS application form. The application form is obtained from Directorate of Technical Education, Nagaland. Candidates have to submit dully fill the application form with payment & along with required document before last date. State wise merit list is generated by the concern authority after filling the application form. After the NEET result candidates have to register on website & pay counseling fee. Seats are allotted to the eligible candidates based on ranks of the candidates in the state-wise merit list. Candidates are required to produce the original documents at document verification center.
