Admission Procedure

Admission in MBBS and BDS courses will be given through national level examination NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test). From the session 2017, the NEET examination will be consider for admission in MBBS courses all over the country.

Entrance Exam

There will be no state level exam organized for admissions in MBBS & BDS programmes. CBSE board will conduct the NEET examination for screening candidates for admissions in medical courses. Top medical college and universities of the country will considered the NEET examination for admission.

Top Medical Colleges in Rajasthan

MBBS Admission 2017

The application form of NEET examination 2017 was available from the 31st January 2017. The last date to fill and submit the application form was 1st March 2017. The NEET exam was organized through offline mode on 7th May 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Indian Nationals & Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible to apply.
  • Students must have completed or appearing 12th or equivalent exam with PCB subjects.
  • Students must have scored minimum 50% marks for general candidates, 45% marks for general-PH candidates and 40% marks for reserved categories in PCB group.
  • The minimum age limit is 17 years as on on 31st December of the year of admission.

Selection Procedure

First of all, candidates are required to appear for the NEET exam. After the result announcement, candidates will be invited for counselling process as per their performance. In counselling procedure, candidates will choose the colleges where they are seeking for admission. Seats will be allotted to students as per their rank, options filled and seats availability. After seat allotment, candidates are required to appear at the allotted centre to complete admission process.

Documents Required

Following documents will be required at the time of document verification process:

  • 10th class certificates.
  • 12th class certificates.
  • NEET 2017 rank card & admit card.
  • Category certificate (if applicable).
  • Birth certificate.
  • Passport size photographs.
