Admission Procedure
Students seeking admission in MBBS/BDS courses in Uttar Pradesh are required to appear the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). For admission to 85% state quota seats, various colleges/Universities of the state will conduct counselling process for the allotment of seats.

Entrance Exam
MBBS/BDS admission in the state medical/dental colleges of Haryana will be done on the basis of NEET-UG. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test is the national level entrance examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Aspirants can appear the NEET-UG on 7th May, 2017.

MBBS Admission 2017
Aspirants can fill the application form of NEET-UG from 31st January 2017 and the last date for the submission of application form was 1st March 2017. The application process of NEET-UG 2017 was completely online. Check below the eligibility criteria of NEET 2017:
- Indian citizen or OCI candidates are eligible to apply.
- Age of the candidates must be 17 years as on 31st December 2017. Maximum age limit is 25 years for general candidates and 30 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Qualifying examination (10+2) must be passed with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for Physicslly handicapped candidates).
- Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually in qualifying examination.
- Candidate must have the valid score card of NEET-UG for taking admission in undergraduate medical/dental courses.
Selection Procedure
For admission to 15% all India seats, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) & Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct counselling after the announcement of result. Admission to 85% state quota seats will be done through the counselling conducted by various colleges/Universities of the state. Students will get admission on merit basis that will be prepared as per the candidate’s scores in entrance test. Approximately, there are total 2427 MBBS seats available in 19 medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
