Admission Procedure

Students will be admitted in MBBS & BDS courses through national level examination NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test). There will not be examination organized in the state or university level for admission in medical & dental courses.

Entrance Exam

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the NEET examination for selecting the appropriate students for admission in MBBS and BDS courses. NEET score card will be considered by the various government and private colleges of the country.

MBBS Admission 2017

The authority provide the NEET 2017 Application Form through online process in the 31st January 2017. The application form was available till the 1st March 2017. The NEET examination was conducted on 7th May 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates should be an Indian Nationals or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).
  • Students must have completed the age of 17 years as or on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • The maximum age limit is 25 years for general students and 30 years for reserved categories.
  • Students must have passed the 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
  • Students appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure

For admissions in medical courses, students must have cleared the NEET 2017 examination. After examination, students will be invited for counselling procedure on the basis of their rank. Through counselling, candidates will choose the colleges where they want to get admission. Seats will be allotted on the basis of rank, filled choices and availability of seats. After seat allotment process, students are required to report to the allotted centre for admission.

Documents Required

Candidates will be needed following documents at the time of counselling/admission:

  • 10th & 12th class mark sheet.
  • 10th & 12th class passing certificate.
  • Admit card & rank card of NEET 2017 examination.
  • Category certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile certificate (for state quota).
  • Passport size photographs.
