MDU 2024 Application Form

To know all about MDU 2024 Application Form, you can go through below provided section:

• For various UG/ PG courses, the online registration will begin from April/ May 2024.
• Candidates can apply via online mode on the website.
• Students must fill single application forms to apply for course in which they want admission.
• After filling the form completely, go through each filled detail. No changes will be allowed after the form has been submitted online.
• No student will be allowed to upload the supporting documents after the last date prescribed by the authority.
• Last date to submit application forms will be till May 2024.

Application Fee:

• MDU Application fee is Rs.1000/- for General applicants.
• For ST/ SC/ DSC/ BC/ differently abled candidates of Haryana only, fee is Rs.250/-.
• Other state candidates are treated as general candidates.
• For each additional program applied by candidate fee of Rs.200/- will be charged. Rs.50/- for ST/ SC/ DSC/ BC/ differently abled candidates of Haryana only.

Payment mode: The application fee can be submitted by applicants online through debit card/ net banking method.

How to Apply for MDU Admission 2024

• Register by providing details such as name, DOB, email id, etc.
• Now your login details – User Id and password will be generated after submission of these details.
• Now login and start filling other details in the application form.

• Confirm all the details after final confirmation of filled details.
• Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, documents as per the specified format and size.

MDU 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech:

• Applying candidate must have passed 12^th level or its equivalent from a board/ university recognised by M.D University Rohtak or its equivalent.
• Students in the qualifying exam must have obtained 45% marks (42.75% marks for ST/ SC/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only).
• Selection: Selection for B.Tech admission in MDU will be done based on JEE Main/ HSTES/ HSTES LEET scores.

For BCA:

• Qualification: Students should have passed 12^th or its equivalent with minimum of 45% marks (42.75% marks for ST/ SC/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) from Board of School Education Haryana or any other board recognised by M.D University Rohtak.
• Selection: Students selection for admission in MDU will be done based on their scores obtained in entrance test.

For MBA (5 year Integrated):

• Qualification: Students should have passed 12^th or its equivalent with minimum of 50% marks (47.5% marks for ST/ SC/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) from any board recognised by M.D University Rohtak or its equivalent.
• Selection: Students selection for admission in MDU will be done based on their scores obtained in entrance test.

For MBA (Hons/ General):

• Qualification: Students should have Bachelors’ degree/PG degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks (47.5% marks for ST/ SC/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) from any board recognised by M.D University Rohtak or its equivalent.

MDU 2024 Admission Procedure

MDU Admission Procedure 2024 will begin with the start of online registration process. Students have to appear for the entrance test conducted by the university for admission in certain courses.

The university also provides admission in certain UG/ PG courses based on the merit scores of their qualifying degree/ exam. For B.Tech admissions, students must have JEE or HSTES/ HSTES LEET scores. Whereas, for admission in MBA, the university will organise entrance exam which the students must qualify to get admission.

MDU 2024 Entrance Test

Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) will conduct entrance tests for admission into various courses separately. Complete schedule, timing and pattern/ syllabus will be explained on the exam notice released by the university. The entrance exams will be conducted in 3^rd– 4^th week of June 2024.

For MBA (2 years) course, the entrance exam will have 100 MCQs and will be of total 100 marks. Test duration will be 75 minutes. Questions will be divided into 4 sections – English Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation and General Awareness. Also, the Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted which will be of 10 marks each.

MDU 2024 Result/ Merit List

After few days of entrance test, the result/ merit lists will be published on the website. Merit list will be made available online in the first week of July 2024. The merit list/ result released will mention the students name, form number, category, roll number and their marks.

Students can access the results in the form of PDF. Further, the schedule of physical counselling will be also provided in the merit list.

MDU Admission 2024 Counselling

MDU Counselling 2024 procedure will begin few days after the result declaration. Only the candidates selected in the merit list published by authority will be able to register for counselling. It will begin in the month of July 2024.

Seats will be allotted to students based on their choices filled during the physical counselling process. Students are required to report at the counselling venues/ institutions physically with their documents for the verification process.
