MICAT 2024: Application (Open), Score Card, GE/ PI (On-going)

MICAT 2024MICAT 2024 G.E & PI Rounds is on-going via offline mode. Score Card has been released on 19th February 2024 for Phase II. Exam is conducted through online mode. Mudra Institute of Communication in Ahmedabad is the conducting authority for MICAT. This exam is conducted twice in a year for admission in Post Graduate Diploma in Management Courses/ PGDM Communication (PGDM/ PGDM-C). MICA also offers admission on the basis of various other management entrance examination including CAT, XAT and GMAT scores. One who will choose to attempt both exam will have to mark their preferences as priority 1 & other as priority 2 among both sessions. Candidates must check following details from application till counselling regarding MICAT 2024.

MICAT 2024 Application Form

Candidates must check following details regarding MICAT 2024 application form:

  • MICAT I 2024 application form has been released via online mode.
  • Candidates can fill the registration form from 11th September 2023 for MICAT I.
  • The last date to submit the form is till 21st November 2023 for Phase I.
  • While filling application form, candidates must not forget to upload passport size photograph & signature.
  • During registration, one must not forget to upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format.
  • Authority may or may not provide any correction facility, so one must make sure they provide correction information in the form.
  • For MICAT Phase II, application process is available from 23rd November 2023 to 16th January 2024.
  • All mandatory dates & details are sent to candidate’s registered number & mail Id, so it must be in active form.
  • Once all details are completely filled, candidates must take its printout for future use.

Application Fee:

  • MICAT 2023 application fee can be submitted through online mode.
  • The mode of payment includes credit card, debit card or net banking.
  • The application fee is Rs. 2100/- for each category candidates.
  • In nay case, application fee is non-refundable.

MICAT 2024 Eligibility

Candidates must check following eligibility norms before applying for MICAT 2024:

  • Qualification: He/ She must posses Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Exam: Candidates must have XAT, CAT or GMAT exam.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final year of exam are also eligible to apply.

MICAT 2024 Result

The MICAT 2024 Result has been released via online mode. Candidates can check it from 21st December 2023 for phase 1 & on 19th December 2023 for Phase II. The result is made available separately for both sessions. One have to use login details such as User ID & password to check their result.

Result contain all required details such as candidates’ name, roll number, score in each subject, total marks, percentage etc. All qualified candidates will further have to participate in GE & PI rounds.

MICAT 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check following details regarding MICAT 2024 Exam Pattern:

  • Exam mode: MICAT 2024 exam will be held via online mode.
  • No. of questions: There will be total of 144 questions in the paper.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will get 1 marks. For each incorrect answer, -0.25 mark will get deducted.
  • No. of sections: There will be total 3 sections divided into 6 parts.

  • General Awareness: Geography, Current Affairs, Politics, Business Brands and Media, Companies and their owner, Literature, Science and Research, History, etc.

MICAT 2024 GE & PI rounds

Candidates ar shortlisted on the basis of their performance in XAT/ CAT/ GMAT and MICAT. Further, it is mandatory for all shortlisted candidates to appear for both Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

After appearing in any of the exam from XAT/ CAT/ GMAT, one needs to appear in MICAT. Further, candidates who score minimum or more than qualifying marks will be called for GE & PI process.

Further selection is on the basis of scored appeared altogether in GMAT, MICAT, GE & PI altogether. The following percentage will be required in each exam for admission in MICAT:

MICAT 2024 Admit Card

The MICAT 2024 admit card has been released via online mode. It has been released separately for MICAT I. For MICAT II, it has been released on 24th January 2024. Hall ticket consists of all details such as candidate’s name, qualification, date, timing & venue and exam instructions.

It is mandatory for each candidate to carry admit card with one ID proof at exam venue. No candidate are allowed to sit for the exam without admit card & ID proof. Also, make sure the details provided in the hall ticket is correct, an incorrect details lead to rejection in candidature.
