JEE Main Exam Update: The JEE Main 2026 session 1 registration is ongoing, and candidates making mistakes are very common. Every year, many candidates do this.
Even though NTA has repeatedly issued instructions and reminders on how to fill out the JEE application correctly, students continue to fill up incorrect details like names, categories, exam cities, and academic information.

Have Mistakes In JEE Main 2026 form?
The National Testing Agency allows candidates to make corrections in the JEE form. After the closure of the JEE Main registration, the edit facility is given. Authority will release a detailed notice outlining what can be changed, what cannot be changed, and the exact correction dates.
Candidates are required to note that the JEE form correction is a one-time opportunity and not all the fields are allowed to be changed. Only a few fields are editable. Check the list below:

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Application Correction Notice
NTA JEE Main 2026 session 1 application form was released on 31st October 2025, and the last day to apply is 27th November 2025 till 09:00 PM. Once the registration window is closed, no forms will be accepted by the authority.
Candidates who want to make corrections in the JEE form will have to log in with the help of their application number and password. According to the NTA JEE Main Exam Schedule, the session 1 exam will be held between 21st – 30th January 2026, and session 2 between 02nd – 09th April 2026. The mode of the exam will be a computer-based test.
