Candidates must go through following details regarding MIT Institute of Design 2021 Application Form:

• Candidates can apply for MIT DAT from 17th October 2020.
• The last date to submit the application form is till 28th February 2021.
• MIT Institute of Design 2021 Application Form has been released through online mode. No other mode has been entertained to fill the form.
• Application Form can be accepted only of eligible candidates so candidates are advised to go through its complete eligibility norms.
• While filling application form, candidates must not forgot to valid/ working email ID & phone number as all important information will be send to it.
• Incomplete or incorrect application form will lead to rejection so candidates must fill the form completely & carefully.

Application Fee:

• Candidates will be able to submit application fee through both online as well as offline mode.
• Online mode of payment includes credit card, debit card or net banking.
• Demand draft will be used in favor of MIT ADT University – MIT Institute of Design, payable at Pune.
• Indian national citizen will have to submit Rs. 3000/– while NRI, OCI & foreign nationals have to submit Rs. 4500/-.
• Application Fee will be non-refundable in any case.

MIT Institute of Design 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to go through following eligibility criteria before applying for DAT:

B.Des:

• Qualification: Candidates must qualify 12th level examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for MIT eDAT.
• Percentage: Applying candidates must score minimum 50% marks to be eligible for exam.

M.Des:

• Qualification: Candidates must qualify Bachelor’s degree from any recognized board or university.
• Stream: Candidates must be qualified in the stream of Engineering, Architecture, Science or Industrial Design..

Test Centres

DAT test will be conducted in various centers such as Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Delhi, Goa, Chandigarh, Chennai, Goa, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Indore, Nagpur, Mumbai, Lucknow, Cochin, and Pune.

MIT Institute of Design 2021 Admit Card

Authority will release MITDAT 2021 admit card through online mode. Candidates will have to use their login credentials to download their admit card. It will consist of all details such as candidates name, roll number, test centre, date & time and other exam instructions.

No candidate will be allowed to permit for the examination without valid admit card. Candidates are advised to also go through given instructions to avoid any kind of rejection during examination.

MIT eDAT (Design Aptitude Test)

The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be conducted jointly by MIT Institute of Design Pune & Avantilka University Ujjain. MIT eDAT will be a qualifying test for second round. Test will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration. It will be a computer based online test which will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Questions will be on the basis of students Design Inclination, Analytical & Logical Thinking, Communication skills & Personality trends.

MIT Institute of Design 2021 Result

MIT eDAT 2021 Result will get declare on 19th April 2021. It will get published in website through online mode. No other mode will be entertained. Candidates will have to use their login credentials to check their result.

After few days of entrance test, institutes will release a list of qualified candidates. Qualified candidates will further have to appear for studio round & the interview round at MITID Pune campus.

MIT Studio Test & Interview (ST & I) 2021

Candidates will have to carry drawing, cutting, pasting, pencil colours, crayons, scissor, glue sticks, chart papers, staplor & fevicol for both DAT and ST & I test. Candidates are advised to reach campus on given date & time.

MIT Institute of Design 2021 Admission Process

Admission into MIT institute of Design will be on the basis of institutes selection process. Candidates attitude, perception, aptitude and achievement will get checked. Admission process will consists of two steps as MIT-eDAT & Studio Test & Personal Interview.

MIT-eDAT:  MIT-eDAT also known as Design Aptitude Test will be held at various centers across country. Candidates will have to carry carry drawing, cutting, pasting, pencil colours, crayons, scissor, glue sticks, chart papers, staplor & fevicol & various other items required while drawing. On the basis of performance, shortlisted candidates will be further called for ST & PI rounds.

ST & PI: Once DAT will be completed, institute will conduct ST & PI round at MITID campus Pune. It will be the second phase which will consists of studio test followed by PI at institute in Pune. Candidates are advised to carry essential items along with hall ticket & a photo copy of result.
