Mumbai University 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Following the eligibility criteria for Mumbai University given below:

For UG Courses:

• Qualification: Candidate must pass 12^th or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Subject: In qualifying exam candidate must pass with Physics, Chemistry/ Biology as mandatory subjects.
• Marks: The minimum marks candidate must score at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).
• Appearing: Those candidates who are applying for qualifying exam in 2023 are also eligible for exam.

For PG Courses:

• Qualification: Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university/ institute.
• Marks: In qualifying exam candidate must score at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
• Appearing: Those candidates who are in final year or semester of qualifying exam they can also apply for exam.

Mumbai University 2023 Admission Procedure

The Mumbai university admission procedure will be based on the marks obtained in qualifying degree/ exam or based on university level entrance exam. There are multiple steps for admission procedure like completion of application form, eligibility, exam, counselling.

The candidates who will be shortlisted will be called for final admission procedure. The candidates will be selected for final admission through merit list prepared by the authority.

Mumbai University 2023 Entrance Exam

Admission in UG and PG courses is offered through merit list. Mumbai University conducts its own university level entrance exam called MUCMET/ MUCLAT for management and law courses. The candidates who want to take admission in Law and Management fields have to apply for this exam.

The exam will be conducted in offline mode. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours to solve the paper. The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Mumbai University 2023 Result

The Mumbai University result has been made available through online mode. The merit list has been prepared by various affiliated colleges on the basis of candidate performance in entrance exam.

Those candidates who will clear the exam, their name will be present in the merit list and will be shortlisted for counselling rounds. The merit list will be released on 19th June 2023. Candidate must download the result for future reference.

Mumbai University 2023 Counselling

The candidates who will be successfully shortlisted in the merit list will be called for the counselling process. Those who will secure cut-off marks based on the merit list will be eligible to appear in Mumbai University counselling 2023.

The counselling will be conducted in many rounds, based on the availability of seats after each round. The candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank in the merit list. The candidates who will be selected for the counselling process have to attend the counselling on the specified date and time at the given centre.
