NCT offers the Admission to PGDBPT and M.Sc Biotech with PGDCTM
National College (Autonomous), Tiruchirapalli has invited the application for the admission to following programmes:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Bio-process Technology (PGDBPT) under UGC innovation scheme
- M.Sc Biotechnology Programme with concurrent Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Trial Management and Regulatory Affairs (PGDCTM)
These programmes are aimed to minimize the gap between academic education and biotechnological industries by providing training to students to meet the growing industrial demand and to make students employable with high-end instrumentation skills.
For PGDBPT:
Eligibility: M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology
Duration: One year (Two Semesters)
Fee: 3500/- per semester
For M.Sc Biotech with PGDCTM:
Eligibility: B.Sc Biotech/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology or any branch of life science
Duration: Four year (Four semesters)
Training & Facilities: Students will be trained in animal cell culture and bio-process techniques and equipped in following instrumentation for employment opportunities:

- Flow Cytometer
- GCMS

- Infra-red Spectrometer

- Stirred-tank
- Fluidized bed, Air-lift
- Photobioreactors
- Lyophilizer
Placement: The college assured placement on successful completion of M.Sc Biotech programme with concurrent PGDCTM.
