AMU 2024 Result will be released in the first week of June 2024 through CUET (UG). AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) conducts a university level entrance exam. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a central university which is situated in the middle of Doab Aligarh. 

It provides entry to a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs. Aspirants will be able to enroll in a variety of fields including Engineering, management, commerce and science.

AMU 2024 Result

AMU 2024 Result will be declared in the first week of June 2024  through CUET-UG and first week of July 2024 for AMU Admission Test. The result can only be viewed through online mode by logging into the website. The applicant’s marks will be used for the selection list. 

The result includes the rank and roll number of the applicants who will be chosen for the counselling. Aspirants must remember to print additional copies of their results for future references. Shortlisted candidates for admission will not receive a separate notification letter.

• The result will appear in PDF format on the screen.

Tie Breaking Criteria

If more than one applicant will have the same score, the following tie-breaking rules will be used to decide the merit position. 

The tie-breaking guidelines for AMU 2024 are as follows:

• Candidates who answer exam questions more accurately will be /graded higher.
• In case of a tie, candidates who answer exam questions with fewest negative responses will be ranked higher.
• If the tie still persists, the elder applicant will receive the higher rank and preference.

AMU 2024 Cut Off

The cut off is the minimal number of marks necessary to pass the exam. It will be announced with the result. The cut-off points for each category will be different. 

Candidates who will score under the published AMU cut off marks will be considered for further admission. They will also be allowed to apply for the admission based on the cut-off.

AMU 2024 Counselling

AMU counselling procedure 2024 will begin after the release of the merit list. The admission procedure will be organized through online mode. Admission list of shortlisted aspirants will be placed on the notice board of the relevant faculty/ college/ centre/ proctor’s office, and so on. 

Candidates must attend at the reporting center with the necessary documentation and payments for the counselling procedure, Seats will be assigned based on rank, category, filled options and availability of seats.
