NEET Exam Update: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), while the National Medical Commission (NMC), through its Undergraduate Medical Education Board, finalizes NEET UG syllabus.

The NEET UG syllabus covers three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The syllabus is primarily based on the NCERT class 11th and class 12th textbooks.

The official NEET website is neet.nta.nic.in, where the NEET 2026 syllabus PDF will be released for download. It will also be available on the NMC website.

What is NEET Syllabus 2026?

For this session of NEET 2026, any major changes are not expected yet. Candidates are advised to prepare for the upcoming examination based on the NEET 2025 syllabus.

There are 20 units in physics, Chemistry has a total of 20 units: Units 1 to 8 cover Physical Chemistry, Units 9 to 12 cover Inorganic Chemistry, and Units 13 to 20 cover Organic Chemistry, and 10 units in Biology.

The NEET UG 2025 syllabus PDF was released on 30th December 2024. Based on previous year data, the expected date for the NEET 2026 syllabus PDF release date is the last week of December 2025.

Till now, no official updates regarding the NEET 2026 syllabus have been announced. However, candidates are advised to begin their NEET preparation based on the last year’s syllabus. NTA will conduct the NEET 2026 exam in the first week of May 2026.
