After completion of the NEET 2025 examination, candidates become eager to know how many marks they will score in the examination. With the help of answer key, candidates can get a rough idea about their performance in the examination.
Before the official answer, many NEET institutional answer keys will be also released. Various coaching institutions release tentative answer keys. Candidates will be able to check OMR Answer Sheet, Responses & Answer Key by logging into their account using their USER ID (Registration Number) & Password.
NEET UG 2025 answer key will be officially release on NTA website in PDF format. NEET 2025 question papers will be released for each code through online mode along with their answer key in May 2025.

How to Download the Answer Key
Candidates must follow given the process to get NEET Answer Key 2025:
- Open the online website link (link will be given above).
- Click on that link.
- A new web page will be displayed on the screen.
- Choose the appropriate option to download the key through application number & password or application number and DOB.
- Enter the required details and click on the “Login” button.
- Now, click on “Answer Key” link given in the dashboard.
- It will appear on the computer screen in a pdf format.
- Download it for further use.
- Take a print out copy of it to compare your answers.
How to Calculate NEET Scores
Candidates should have a good understanding of marking scheme to calculate NEET scores. The examination is of 720 marks. For each correct response, the board will give 4 marks to the candidate. For each incorrect answer, one mark is deducted from the candidate. Check below for marking scheme:

The formula to calculate the NEET Score is as follows:
NEET Score = (Total number of Correct answers x 4) – (Total number of Incorrect answers x -1)
How to Challenge the Answer Key
The board will also provid the facility to challenge the answer key. In case, candidates find any mistake in it, they can challenge it by paying a challenge fee. Candidates, those willing to challenge the OMR Answer Sheet, Responses & Answer Key, will have to pay Rs. 200 as per question /response.
Candidates can challenge the scanned Images of OMR Sheet & Answer Keys through candidate login by using their user ID (Registration No.) & Password. The fee will be refunded to the candidate if their challenge is accepted by the board. Remember that the challenge will not be accepted after the due date.
Step by Step Challenge Procedure:
Candidates, those want to challenge NEET 2025 Answer Key, they have to follow the following steps:
- Go to the official site (link will be given above).
- Click on given link.
- The website page will appear on the computer screen.
- Choose the appropriate option to download the key through application number & password or application number and DOB.
- Enter the required details and click on the “Login” button.
- Now, Click on “Answer Key Challenge” & select answer booklet code.
- Select a question for a challenge & then click on submit button.
- Select your answer & give comments /justifications for the answer.
- Then, click on “Confirm” tab & pay fee for challenging answer key.
- Pay fee by using a debit/credit card.
- Take a print copy of Confirmation Slip for further reference.
NEET Result 2025
NEET 2025 Result will be released in first week of June 2025. Candidates will be able to check their NEET results & rank letters through an online process only. No scorecard is sent to the candidates via offline mode.
After a few days of the examination, NEET 2025 result will be announced by NTA. With the result, the board can also release rank letters. No rank letter is issued to the candidates through offline mode. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks secured in the examination.
Candidates are called for the counselling on the basis of merit lists. Candidates will be able to check their results by entering roll number & date of birth.

What After NEET Result

NEET 2025 Counselling will start in second week of August 2025. Last year it began on 14th August 2024. It will be conducted through online mode. The 15% All India Quota seats, Deemed Universities/ Central Universities/ Seats of ESIC & AFMC including BHU & AMU admission is done by the MCC (Medical Council Committee).

In AIPMT form 2016 which was conducted on 01/05/2016 I mentioned by mistake belong colum Bihar but it should be W Bengal because my birth place is W Bengal and my home state is Bihar (Father) . Now I want to change origin W bengal place of Bihar can is it possible?
