NEET UG 2026 Paper Analysis

NTA has conducted the NEET UG 2026 exam successfully in 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM shift. As per the students reaction and feedback, the exam difficuly level was moderate and it was NCERT based too.

Biology was easy and can help students in scoring more and chemistry was considered moderate in difficulty level. While Physics was the toughest one due to concet based and time consuming questions.

As compared to NEET 2025, the exam was similar moderate in difficulty level and a bit lengthy due to Physics section. More details will be updated here soon.

NEET 2025 Exam Analysis

Examination for NEET session 2025 was held on 4th May 2025. It was held in one shift, and once the test is over, students has provided their feedback regarding the exam.

As per the experts, NEET UG paper was difficult as compared to last year and it was based on NCERT syllabus. Physics paper was a bit high standard and Chemistry paper was lengthy in addition Botany & Zoology papers was also lengthy. Overall it took more time to solve the question paper. NEET UG Subject Wise Analysis:

  • Physics Analysis: Physics in NEET exam was a bit tough with high level questions. Some questions from JEE Advanced level was also asked in the exam.
  • Biology Analysis: The Biology section was asked from the NCERT syllabus and easier than the last year but lengthy.
  • Chemistry Analysis: As comparing from last year, inorganic questions are increased. Numerical are tough in this section.

Exam analysis is a review of details about the test, It’s a difficult level, topics from which questions were asked, patterns, and more. Once the exam is concluded various experts and institutions also release memory-wise analysis.

NEET 2024 Re-Exam Analysis

According to the candidates who appeared in the NEET UG Re-examination, the paper was moderately difficult in nature. All the questions were from the NCERT syllabus and nothing was asked from the deleted syllabus.

Most of the questions were statement based. Biology was considered the easiest section of the paper while organic chemistry part was a bit challenging for candidates and Physical Chemistry has more calculation based questions.

NEET 2024 Exam Analysis

As per students’ reactions, NEET 2024 question paper was moderate to difficult. Most of the questions were asked based on NCERT syllabus.

There were three sections in the exam, where candidates found Physics to be moderate & slightly tough. However, zoology & botany papers were the easiest to attempt in Biology section.

As per the students, difficulty level of chemistry paper was easy to moderate. Overall, the question paper was moderate.

Paper Analysis of NEET 2023 (Physics)

The difficulty level of the physics exam was easy to moderate. As compared to the previous year’s NEET UG 2022 exam, the numerical questions dominate the paper with 78% which is more. In physics portion, the entire paper was based on the NCERT syllabus with no questions beyond the NCERT Syllabus.

Most of the tricky questions were found in section B. The difficulty level of the Physics exam is same as that of NEET UG 2022 exam, but 2023 exam was slightly lengthy due to the more numerical problems.

Paper Analysis of NEET 2023 (Chemistry)

The difficulty level Chemistry exam was moderate, with a few difficult questions. Most of the asked questions were based on the NCERT statements, facts, and graphs. With several modifications, the statements were taken from the NCERT only.

In both sections, Assertion-Reason type questions were introduced. The section on chemistry was slightly lengthy due to the questions based on conceptual understanding. This year’s exam had more Assertion-Reason type questions and relatively few matrix-match questions as compared to the NEET UG 2022.

Paper Analysis of NEET 2023 (Botany)

Difficulty level of the Botany exam was moderate to difficult. The questions asked in the exam were mostly lengthy and time consuming. Most of the questions were asked from the NCERT textbooks, with a few options beyond the NCERT Syllabus.

There were some questions that seemed to be difficult and tricky at the same time. No controversial questions were asked in the exam.

Paper Analysis of NEET 2023 (Zoology)

The overall difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate. Due to the numerous match the column type questions along with the statement-based questions, the exam was lengthy and time consuming. There were certain questions that seems to be easy at first glance but they were actually twisted and require precision and focus.

The section on Zoology was based on the NCERT Syllabus and required an understanding of the meaning between the lines. This exam of Zoology was highly NCERT centric based.

NEET 2024 Paper Analysis

Appearing aspirants for NEET 2024 should be aware of the paper analysis to know the toughness level of the examination. The exam analysis of NEET includes various factors such as difficulty level, types of questions, and many more. The NEET 2024 exam analysis will be updated here after the exam.

The NEET 2024 exam pattern will comprise four subjects. Each subject will consist of two sections – Section A will consist of a total of 35 questions and section B will consist of a total of 15 questions, out of these 15 questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions.

For each correct response in the NEET 2024 exam, candidates will be awarded 4 marks, and for each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted by the authority. No marks will be given for unattempted/Unanswered questions in the exam. The exam analysis of NEET 2024 will consist of the overall and sectional difficulty levels of the exam.

NEET 2022 Previous Year Analysis

The NEET 2022 entrance exam was conducted through offline mode on 17th July 2022, from 2 PM to 5:20 PM. Each subject of exam – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology was divided into two sections, Section A and Section B carrying 35 and 15 questions respectively. Candidates have to attempt 10 questions only in section B.

As per the feedback received from various appeared students, NEET 2022 exam paper was of moderate difficult level. Check subjects wise analysis below for previous year.

NEET 2022 Analysis for Physics

The NEET 2022 physics section was the most difficult section. The physics questions were formula based mostly. The questions were lengthy in nature and hence time-consuming as per the experts. The asked questions were numeric based and around four to five questions were tricky in nature.

NEET 2022 Analysis for Chemistry

The NEET 2022 chemistry section was dominated by NCERT based questions mostly. A total of 45 questions were there in the chemistry section which comprised more theoretical questions. 31 percent of the total number of questions asked were easy to moderate.

NEET 2022 Analysis for Biology

The NEET 2022 Biology section was the easiest in the question paper. It comprised 90 questions, which were segregated into questions from Botany and Zoology. The biology section was tougher than that of the Zoology section. The Zoology section was mostly based on the 12th-class syllabus. The NEET 2022 Zoology section was easy to moderate.

NEET 2026 Answer Key

The NEET answer key will be released after the exam by the authority. The National Testing Agency (NTA) first releases the provisional answer key, and then final answer key will be released on the website.

The NEET 2026 answer key will be available in June 2026. Candidates will also able to raise an objection against the answer key if they were not satisfied with the answer.

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/- as a processing fee for each challenged question. The fee can be submitted through online mode only. In case the challenge made by the candidates will be found correct, candidates will get a refund of this fee.
