The exam is organized once a year. It is the undergraduate level examination conducted for admission to medical courses such as MBBS/BDS. NEET 2026 (previously known as AIPMT) will be conducted on 3rd May 2026.

NEET 2026 Exam Dates

NEET exam schedule 2026 has been released by NTA. In the below given table, we have mentioned official dates of NEET 2026:

NEET Pre-Examination Dates

The notification for NEET 2026 has been released on 8th February 2026. NEET 2026 application form is also released on 8th February 2026. Students are able to pay the fee till 8th March 2026 till 11:50 PM.

The last date to submit the application form will be till 8th March 2026. NEET 2026 Application Form Correction facility will also given to candidates. The form correction link will be activated from 10th to 12th March 2026.

Before releasing the admit card, NTA will announced the allotted exam city in third week of April 2026. Successfully registered candidates are the ones who will be able to download the NEET 2026 admit card from last week of April 2026.

NEET 2026 examination will be conducted on 3rd May 2026 (pen and paper-based mode) at various examination center around the world.

NEET Post-Examination Dates

After the successful completion of NEET 2026 exam, students will be able to check the NEET 2026 answer key within a week after the completion of the examination from June 2026. The institutional answer keys will also be released on the same day of examination.

After the release of provisional answer keys, students will be able to challenge them and submit responses through online mode. OMR sheets will be released from first week of June 2026.

Final Answer Key will be released before the declaration of result. NEET 2026 Result will be available for downloading from second week of June 2026. The NEET 2026 Cut Off will also be published along with the declaration of results.

Successful candidates will be invited to the counselling process. NEET counselling will be started from third week of July 2026. Candidates participating in the counselling process have to register for the counselling rounds as per the counselling schedule which will be released separately by the authority.

NEET 2026 Application Form

The application process for NEET 2026 started on 8th February 2026. It has been released by NTA in online mode. Students who fulfill complete eligibility criteria are able to fill out the application form. All the details in the form must be submitted correctly before the last date of submission which will be till 8th March 2026.

In case of any mistake in the form, students will be provided with the correction facility. Through this facility, students will be able to correct mistakes in the details or images and then resubmit the form. Correction facility will be provided from 10th to 12th March 2026. No further correction in the application will be allowed after the last correction date.

Candidates are advised to not submit multiple National Eligibility Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) application forms, as it may cause them trouble.
