Admission Procedure

The admissions for medical and dental colleges in the state of Mizoram are based on the scores of NEET 2023. For admissions in the MBBS & BDS courses in Mizoram, a candidate has to appear and subsequently qualify in the exam to appear in the merit list and after that has to apply for seat in Mizoram by applying. Entrance Exams

The candidates who aspire to join medical & dental courses have to appear and qualify in the NEET 2023 exams. NEET is mandatory for admissions into the MBBS & BDS courses. There is no other separate entrance examination held in the state of Mizoram.

Mizoram MBBS/BDS Admission 2023

Eligibility:

• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
• The age of the candidate should not less than 17 years and should not be more than 25 years to get admission in the MBBS and BDS program.
• Candidates applying for MBBS admission 2018 must be a permanent resident of Mizoram.
• Candidates should be qualified in Class 12 or equivalent with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and any other elective with English.
• The applicants must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the qualifying examination.
• The candidates must have obtained the required minimum percentile in the NEET 2018UG examination in order to be eligible for Mizoram MBBS 2018 admission.

Selection Process

The candidate has to appear and qualify in the NEET 2023 to subsequently register themselves for applying for MBBS/BDS courses in Mizoram. After completing the registration, candidates will get the form to choose colleges and courses. The candidates have to fill the choices of college as per their preferences and proceed to lock the steps as without doing it candidates will not be considered for the counselling. Based on the ranking of the candidate in the merit list, the seats will be allotted to them but the candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted seats can apply for the next rounds of the counselling. The seats allotted to the candidates must go to report the allotted colleges within the given period of date and time. Candidates need to carry the original documents at the time of reporting for admission.
