NEST 2021 Result has been released on 1st September 2021. It is for candidates who wish to seek admission in the 5 year integrated MSc programme in Biological, Mathematical, Chemical, and Physical Science offered by the participating institutes. NEST 2021 has been organised by the NISER, Bhubaneshwar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai jointly. Candidates can get admission after qualifying the entrance exam successfully. NEST 2021 Result
NEST Result has been published in 1st September 2021 after the commencement of examination. It has been released via online mode. Candidates must have to enter their user ID & password to check or download their result & scorecard.
It consist of all the details as candidates name, date of birth, exam date, score, rank, photograph & much more. It is necessary to score 90 marks out of 180 to qualify the examination.
Candidates who will qualify the examination with minimum marks will get shortlisted & will be further called for counselling process.
NEST 2021 Counselling
NEST counselling process will be conducted through offline mode in various rounds. It will get release after the candidate’s selection. Candidates will also have to bring original & photo stated documents at the time of counselling for verification & submission.
It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling process. The admission will be offered to candidates only after the counselling session. Candidates will have to appear at NISER and UM-DAE-CBS campuses separately within the limited time period for counselling.

NEST 2021 Cut-off
NEST Cut-off will be published via online mode. Cut-off will be the minimum marks candidates will have to carry to qualify the examination. It will be based on various factors such as no. of students participated for the examination, difficulty level, previous year cut-off trend and much more.
The expected cut-off as per the previous year trend for various categories will be as:

NEST 2021 Answer Key
NEST Answer Key has been published on the website via online mode. It has been released on 30th August 2021. Answer key contain correct answers of all the questions asked in the questions papers. With the help of answer key, candidates will be able to assume their marks scored in the examination even before the result declaration.
Candidates must have to enter their roll number & date of birth to download the answer key. The answer key has been made available in two sets as SET A & SET B. Students are also able to challenge the answer key.

NEST 2021 Application Form
Candidates must go through following details regarding NEST Application Form:
- NEST 2021 application form has been released on 24th February 2021.
- The last date to submit the application form is till 15th July 2021.
- Candidates are able to fill the application form via online mode.
- While filling application, candidates must have to upload passport size photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
- It is mandatory to provide valid/ working email ID & phone number in the application form.
- Candidates also have to fill the exam city as per their preference.
- At last, candidates are advised to take printout of filled in application form for further use.
Application Fee:
- NEST 2021 application fee can be paid through online mode.
- The mode of payment includes credit card, debit card, or net banking.
- General & OBC male category candidates will have to submit 1200.
- The application fee for female category, SC/ST and PwD category will be 600.
NEST Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must go through following NEST Eligibility norms before applying for the examination:
- Qualifying: Candidates must qualify 12th level examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for the examination.
- Mandatory Subject: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics in the qualifying examination to be eligible.
- Percentage: General category candidates must score minimum 60% marks & 55% for reserved category candidates to be eligible.
- Age Limit: General & OBC category must be born on or after 1st August 2001. 5 years of relaxation will be given to SC/ ST category candidates.
NEST 2021 Exam Pattern
Candidates must go through following details regarding NEST Exam Pattern:
- Exam Mode: NEST 2021 examination has been organized via Online (computer-based) mode.
- Time Duration: 3 hours time duration will be given to complete the examination.
- Questions Type: The question paper will consist of the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- Total marks: The questions will be of 200 marks.
- Sections: There will be total 4 sections which includes subjects i.e. physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology.

NEST 2021 Syllabus
NEST Syllabus will follows the NCERT/ CBSE science syllabus of class 11th & 12th. It has been published by the authority via online mode. The question paper will contain questions from the General section, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology subject.
There will be various questions to test candidates’ ability, to know quantitative ability, and also qualitative aspects. Candidate’s aptitude for career in science will be also checked.

NEST 2021 Admit Card
NEST 2021 Admit Card has been made available via online mode. Candidates have to enter their login credentials to download their admit card. It has been released on 3rd August 2021. No candidate can receive any admit card via post or courier.
It is mandatory for all candidates to carry admit card along with one valid ID proof at the examination centre. No candidates are allowed to sit for the examination without admit card & valid ID proof.
