NEST 2024 Admit Card has been released on 20th June 2024. National Entrance Screening Test is a national level entrance exam which is conducted once in a year. The exam is conducted by the (NISER), Bhubaneshwar & (UM- DAE CEBS), Mumbai jointly. The admission is provided into five year integrated M.Sc programs at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) & (UM- DAE CEBS). Eligible candidates will get admission in University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Science, Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAECEBS is set up by the DAE, government of India. NEST is conducted in around 120 cities across India.

NEST 2024 Admit Card – Released

The hall ticket for NEST 2024 will be available in the second week of June 2024. Candidates will have to download the admit card through online mode. The authority will not send the admit card to any candidate by post or any other offline method. The link will be available on the website only till the day of the examination. Candidates will have to check their name, roll number and other important details carefully in the admit card.

Candidates must bring the hardcopy of the admit card and valid photo ID to the examination center. No applicants will be allowed to enter the examination hall without having a valid admit card. It will be mandatory to take a print out of the admit card and keep it safe for other references.

How to Download NEST 2024 Admit Card

Here are the steps to download the NEST Admit Card 2024:

• Go through the NEST website (Link is given above).
• Click on the ‘NEST Admit Card’ button.
• Enter the user registration number and date of birth in the given space.
• Now, press the ‘Submit’ button to proceed.
• The NEST 2024 admit card will appear on the screen.
• Check all the mentioned details in the admit card. 
• Download the admit card and take print out of it for the exam day. 

NEST 2024 Admit Card Correction

The authority will also provide the correction facility to the appearing candidates. Candidates must check the mentioned details in the admit card carefully. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, candidates must inform the authority immediately for modification. As the candidates with the wrong details in the admit card will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

For the particular period of time, the authority will open the correction facility in the admit card. Candidates are suggested to make their corrections done before the last date to avoid inconvenience. After the corrections in the admit card, candidates must take a hardcopy of it for the day of examination.

Important Points to Remember on Exam Day

Candidates are advised to follow the instructions before going for the exam:

• Applicants will have to reach the examination centre at least 90 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination.
• Candidates will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall after the beginning of the examination.
• It will be important to bring the hard copy of the admit card and an original school photo identity card to the examination centre. 
• Calculator and logbook will not be allowed in the examination hall. Applicants must carry their blue/ black pen during the examination.
• Candidates will not be allowed to use any kind of gadgets like mobile phones, digital/smart watches, storage devices etc in the examination hall.
• Exchange and sharing of the items with other applicants will be strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
