NIFT Admission 2021

After the announcement of result, the NIFT Admission 2021 process will take place. Candidates would participate in the NIFT counselling process from June 2021. Counselling will be conducted through online mode.

The merit list will be prepared according to the marks secured by the candidates in Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), Situation Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The counselling authority will invite the students on the basis of their rank in the merit list. The final result will be declared for UG & PG courses at the end of counselling.

NIFT Admission Process

The counselling procedure will be organized in multiple rounds as per the availability of seats. Here we have mentioned different steps of counselling procedure:

Step-1: Online Registration

To participate in the counselling, candidates have to register themselves at the website. No registration fee will be charged for first round of counselling. Registration will be done through online mode only.

Candidates are required to choose the counselling centre from where the candidate will participate in the counselling. After successful registration, students will receive a “System Generated Letter” via SMS and E-mail.

This letter will contain the counselling details and documents required.

Step-2: Report at the Counselling Centre

Candidates are required to report to the chosen counselling centre for document verification and seat allotment. Students have to bring the required original documents along with their photocopy.

During counselling a seat availability chart will be displayed as per the campus, course and category. Students will be called as per their rank to offer the seats available.

Step-3: Seat Allotment

After the document verification, seat allotment process will be started. The candidate shall select the seat through online process at the presence of the Nodal Officer.

After seat allotment, candidates are needed to pay the notified fee at the counselling centre. Once the fee paid, students will get an allotment letter and admission fee receipt issued by Nodal Officer.

If candidates will take admission once and then withdraw, then will not be considered for admission for other rounds. Counselling will be organised over 17 campuses. After the allotment of seats candidates will need to report at the allotted college with their required documents.

Documents Required for Admission

These documents will be required for document verification process:

  • System generated counselling letter.
  • Two passport size photographs.
  • High school certificates.
  • 12th class certificates.
  • Category certificate (if applicable).
  • Medical certificate
  • Semester fee demand draft.
  • Mark sheets of all semesters of graduation (for master courses).
  • Rank card and admit card of entrance test.
