NIMCET 2023 Allotment (Special Round) has been released on 26th July 2023. Exam is conducted by National Institutes of Technology (NITs) on rotation basis. It is a Common Entrance National Level Examination conducted by any of the NITs, for admission in to MCA programme. NIMCET 2023 Answer Key

The answer key for the NIMCET 2023 has been released on 13th June 2023 through online mode. Candidates can calculate their scores using the NIMCET answer key before the announcement of the result.

The authority has also provide the objection facility for answer key. For challenging the answer key, candidates will have to send an email to NIMCET authorities within the stipulated time.

Candidates are able to submit their objections against the answer key from 13th to 14th June 2023. After all of the objections are checked, the authority will release the final NIMCET answer key.

NIMCET 2023 Result

The NIMCET Result has been declared on 26th June 2023 through online mode. A rank list has been prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the entrance test.

To download the result candidates have to use their login credentials and candidates must take the printout of the NIMCET 2023 result for future reference. Candidates should note that no rank card will be sent through email or other modes of communication.

NIMCET 2023 Cut Off

NIMCET cut off is also an important criteria for admission based on which a candidates are able to secure a seat in the one of the NITs. The cut off has been released through online mode.

The cut off is the minimum marks obtained by a candidate to qualify the entrance examination. Also the cut off marks depend on the number of candidates appeared for the examination, number of seats available for admission and level of difficulty of exam.

NIMCET 2023 Counselling

Candidate have to apply through online mode to participate in the counselling process. The NIMCET 2023 Counselling is commenced from 29th June 2023.

The seats allotment process is being done based on the rank scored by the candidates, choices filled by the candidates and availability of seats. Candidates successfully qualified for the entrance exam are permitted to fill the choices of the institution where they are seeking admission.

Seat allotment for first round has been released on 7th July 2023. Candidates have to report to the allotted center with the required documents after seat allotment. Seat allotment is released on 12th July 2023 for second round. It has been released on 17th July 2023 for third round.

NIMCET special round counselling has been started from 22nd July 2023 via online mode. Seat allotment will be released on 26th July 2023.

NIMCET 2023 Application Form

NIMCET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to match the eligibility criteria given below before filling out the application form for NIMCET 2023 examination:

• Qualifying Exam: Those candidates must have any degree with mathematics/ statistics for a minimum of 3 years full time or B.E / B.Tech or some equivalent exam from a recognized University will be able to apply for the NIMCET 2023 examination.
• Candidates who have completed their B.Sc / B.Sc (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT for 3 years from Open Universities will also be able to apply for the examination.
• Appearing: Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam will also be able to apply for the examination.
• Marks Required: Indian National Applicants required to have attained at least 60% as aggregate or 6.5/10 CGPA and 55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC, ST will also be applied for the examination.

NIMCET 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the NIMCET 2023 is given below:

• Mode of Exam: The mode of the exam is online (CBT) mode.
• Language: The question paper will be in English language only.
• Type of Question: The question paper will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Pattern.
• Total Questions: The question paper will contain 120 questions in the examination.
• Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

NIMCET 2023 Admit Card

The NIMCET Admit card has been issued by the authority from the 1st June 2023. Candidate are able to download the admit card through online mode on the website of the exam conducting authority.

The admit card will not be sent by the post or offline system. The admit card contain the details like candidate name, father name, category, photograph and date of birth, etc. Candidates should carry their admit card on the day of examination as no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
