  1. Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a student who appeared in CBSE Class 12 Board Examination in the year 2025. I have passed in all subjects including an additional subject (Yoga), which is clearly shown on my mark sheet issued via DigiLocker, with marks and grade properly mentioned.

I want to know whether the marks of an additional subject (in my case, Yoga) can be included while calculating the aggregate percentage for the 75% eligibility criteria for admission to IITs via JEE Advanced or for JoSAA counselling.

As per the public notices and past JoSAA responses, the aggregate is calculated based on:
    – Physics
    – Chemistry
    – Mathematics
    – One language
    – One other subject (highest scoring, even if additional)

Kindly confirm whether I can include Yoga as the fifth subject, provided there is no disclaimer on the marksheet and the marks are properly mentioned.

I would appreciate your guidance and an official confirmation for clarity.

    Thank you.

    Yours sincerely,
    Harshit Sharma
