NTA 2023: Check JEE Main/ NEET/ GPAT/ CMAT/ UGC NET Detail

NTA 2023 stands for National Testing Agency. It is an organisation which conducts various entrance examinations such as NEET, JEE Main, UGC NET, CMAT, etc. for 2023 session. It performs various activities as well as organises exam along with test preparation, test delivery, and to test marking. NTA has released applications for JEE Main 2023 and will release for other exams soon. NEET will be held once in a year. JEE Main will be held twice in a year. Because of formation of NTA it’s been easy to conduct various entrance exam smoothly and efficiently. Here we have provided details about various entrance exams which is conducted by NTA.

NTA 2023

NTA 2023 (National Testing Agency) is an authorized body assigned by Government of India. It conducts various entrance exams which were previously conducted by CBSE, AICTE. The entrance exam for JEE Main and UGC NET will be conducted twice a year by NTA. For CMAT, NEET, and GPAT exam will be conducted once a year by NTA.

NTA Organising JEE Main 2023

From 2022, JEE Main 2023 exam will be conducted twice a year by NTA. It will be held in two sessions i.e., Session 1 (January) and Session 2 (April).

The exam date for both sessions has been announced. It will be conducted on 24^th, 25^th, 28^th, 29^th, 30^{th ,} 31^st January 2023 & 1st February 2023 (session 1) and on 6^th, 7^th, 8^th, 9^th, 10^th, 11^th and 12^th April 2023 (session 2).

JEE Main exam comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted to provide admission in Undergraduate Engineering programs (B.Tech./ B.E) at IIITs, NITs, etc. Paper 2 is conducted for providing admission to B.Arch., and B. Planning courses.

NTA Organizes NEET 2023

NEET is conducted to provide admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, AYUSH and other medical courses in various colleges/ deemed universities. From 2019, NTA is the conducting authority of the NEET exam.

NEET 2023 exam date has been announced. It will be conducted on 7th May 2023 through offline mode only (pen and paper based). There is total 13 languages in which NEET exam is being conducted i.e., English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

NTA Organizes Other Exams (GPAT, UGC NET & CMAT)

Other than JEE & NEET exams, NTA also conducts other exams as well such as GPAT, CMAT, UGC NET, etc. The exams will be conducted through online mode (computer-based exam).

CMAT

CMAT 2023 (Common Management Admission Test) is conducted for admission in Management programs. This test facilitates AICTE affiliated participating institutions for admission in management courses. Till 2018, test was conducted by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) from 2019 NTA is conducting the exam.

GPAT

GPAT is a national level entrance examination for admission into M. Pharma programmes. Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT 2023) is 3 hours computer based online test. NTA is conducting this test from 2019 earlier test was conducted by AICTE.

UGC NET

UGC NET 2023 (University Grant Commission) is being conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) from December 2018 before that UGC NET was conducted by the CBSE. The exam is conducted twice every year. The UGC NET test is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian Nationals for “Assistant Professor” and “Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor”.

By the formation of National Testing Agency (NTA), the burden to conduct the exam for conducting authorities for various exam has been removed.
