NUCAT 2023 Application Form is open for various courses. It is available via online mode. NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test) is a university level entrance exam conducted every year. The university offers various courses UG & PG level courses. For B. Tech course, admission will be through NUCAT entrance exam. The admission for Medical and Dental programs will be based on inter-se merit in the All-India Entrance Test (NEET). It is a private university located at Mangalore, Karnataka. NUCAT 2023 Application Form

Following are the details about NUCAT 2023 Application Form below:

• The application form for NUCAT 2023 has been made available through online mode only.
• The NUCAT application form has been started from 8th December 2022.
• Candidates have to fill the application form with details such as name, address, email id, contact number, etc.
• The application form can be accepted only of eligible candidates so, one must check the norms before applying for the exam.
• No correction facility will be provided in the application form, so fill details carefully to avoid any kind of mistake.
• The last date to submit the application form is 27th May 2023.
• Candidates must take the printout of the application form for further reference.

Application Fee

• The application fee can be submitted through online mode.
• Candidates can pay the fee using Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking/ UPI.
• Application fee is Rs. 1000/- for every candidate.
• The application fee is non-refundable once paid.

NUCAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for NUCAT 2023 will be as provided below:

B.Tech Courses:

• Qualification: Candidate must qualify 12^th class from any recognized board.
• Age: The minimum age of candidate must be 17 years as on 31^st December of the year of admission.
• Subject: In qualifying exam, candidate must pass with Mathematics/ Physics and chemistry/ biotechnology/ biology as compulsory subject with any one from Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics.
• Marks: The minimum marks candidates must score is at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates).

NUCAT 2023 Admission Procedure

The admission procedure for NUCAT will be based on the different factors. Candidates will get admission through university level exam score, national level exam score and performance in entrance exam.

For B.Tech courses, admission will be done through Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT). For MBSS and BDS program, admission will be given on the basis of NEET UG ranking (merit based). The selected candidates will be called for verification of original documents.

NITTE University Common Admission Test (NUCAT)

NUCAT (NITTE University Common Admission Test) examination will be conducted through online mode. The exam will be conducted for candidates who want to take admission in B.Tech programmes.

The question paper will consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and it will be divided in 3 sections. The exam duration will be 2 hours. There will be total 120 questions each carrying 1 marks. There will be no negative marking.

NUCAT 2023 Merit List/ Result

NUCAT University 2023 result will be released from 21st June 2023. The merit list will be available through online mode. It will be released separately for different courses.

The merit list will contain the name of candidate, marks obtained, rank, etc. After the release of the merit list, candidates will be called for the counselling procedure. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling process. Based on the counselling process, candidates will get admission into the university.

NUCAT 2023 Scholarships

The candidates can avail the scholarships for study at NMAMIT provided by the university.

• 20% of the seats in each program is set aside for toppers in NUCAT.
• Admission with 40% of scholarship of prescribed fee will be offered to candidates for 20% of seats based on inter se merit.
• All government scholarships and Community based Organizations sponsored scholarships can be availed.

NUCAT 2023 Counselling

The NUCAT University 2023 counselling process will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. The counselling process will be held through online mode. It will be compulsory for all candidates whose name is present in the merit list to participate in the counselling process.

Candidates must have to bring the original and photocopy required documents for verification. Candidates who will be allotted seats in the counselling process will be able to download their counselling letters. As without counselling letters no further admission will be allowed.
