JNU 2025 Application Form

  • JNU 2025 Registration for UG/ PG can be done through online mode only.
  • Candidates planning for admission into UG/ PG courses offered by JNU are required to register for CUET UG/ PG exam 2025.
  • For CUET PG, the registrations will begin from fourth week of December 2024.
  • For CUET UG, the application will be available in the first week of February 2025.
  • MBA Applications in JNU 2025 will be invited in the last week of January 2025 based on CAT scores.
  • Application process will consist of various steps – Online registration, form filling, uploading of images, payment of application fee & printing of form.
  • Online applications must be filled carefully. No defective forms will be accepted by the University.
  • For same level of program, only one application should be submitted otherwise all his/her applications will be rejected.

Application Fee:

  • The non-refundable application fee for CUET UG/ PG can be paid through online mode only.
  • Through online mode, fee can be paid using debit card/ credit card/ UPI/ net banking/ wallet.
  • For MBA, application fee is Rs.2000/- for General/ EWS/OBC and Rs.1000/- for ST/ SC/ PWD.

How to Apply for JNU 2025 Admission

Know complete steps to apply for JNU UG/ PG / MBA admission 2025:

  • Visit the online website (Link will be given above).
  • Click on the link provided – ‘CUET Registration 2025.’
  • Now complete instructions will be displayed mentioning about the application procedure.
  • After going through all the instructions, start registering by entering details like name, DOB, phone number, mail id, etc.
  • Login details (Application number and password) will be now generated using which candidates can fill further details.
  • Fill other details in application form such as – educational, test paper, exam city, university/ course selection, etc.
  • Next step is to upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the specified format/ size.
  • Pay application fee using the provided online modes – Net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI.
  • Download, save and take printout of application form for further references in future.

JNU 2025 Application Correction

Details in the JNU (CUET) Application form 2025 can be edited through online mode. Students have to login and select the details which they want to edit. However, students must remember that only few details will be allowed for modification.

JNU Application correction facility 2025 will open in February 2025 for CUET PG. For CUET UG, correction will be available from the month of April 2025.

JNU 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Check below JNU Eligibility Criteria 2025 for various offered UG/ PG courses:

For B.A. (Hons) 1st year:

  • Qualification: Qualifying candidate must have passed 12th level exam or its equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Percentage: In the 12th level students must have secured at least of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Age Limit: The candidates age must be 17 years as on 1st October 2024. No age limit is prescribed for any other program.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in their final examination in year 2024 are also eligible.

For M.Tech. (Statistical Computing):

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree holders in the required stream will be eligible to apply.
  • Subject: The master’s degree should be in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operational research, or in any other science branch.
  • Percentage: Candidates should have secured at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree.

For MA Program:

  • Qualification: Candidates must have Bachelors’ degree in any stream.
  • Percentage: Candidates must have secured minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree.

For MBA:

  • Applying candidate should have Bachelors’ degree (3 years) or its equivalent degree recognized by university/ institution.
  • In the qualifying degree, students must have obtained 50% marks for General /OBC/ EWS (45% for ST/ SC/ PWD).
  • Students must have a valid scorecard of CAT conducted by IIMs.

JNU Reservation Criteria

The reservation policy as prescribe by the Govt of India will be applicable only to the reserved category candidates (ST/ SC/ OBC-NCL, EWS/ PWD).

JNU 2025 Exam Pattern

For CUET UG:

  • Exam Mode: CUET UG will be conducted by online (Computer Based Test) mode.
  • Time Duration: Test will be held on multiple days in three slots per day.
  • Medium of Exam: The exam will be available in English language only.
  • Sections: There will be 4 sections in the paper as Section IA, Section IB, Section II & Section III.
  • Number of Questions: 100 questions will be asked in the exam.
  • Types of Questions: The test will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct response, 1 mark will be given. There will be no negative marking in the exam.

For CUET PG:

  • Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through online (Computer based) mode.
  • Exam Duration: Candidates will be given 2 hours to solve the exam.
  • Number of Questions: Each paper will consist of 100 questions.
  • Test Duration: Examination will be conducted in 1 hour 45 minutes duration.
  • Marking: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

JNU 2025 Admit Card

The JNU 2025 admit card for CUET UG will be released in the first week of May 2025 & for CUET PG it will be released in the first week of March 2025. Candidates will be able to access the admit card through online mode. To download it, candidates must visit the website and enter the login credentials. Details like application number and date of birth will be required to access the admit card from the website.

It will consist with the details such as exam dates, time, venue, address, name of the candidates, photograph, signature, exam name, etc. Candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy of the admit card safe as it will be required on the day of examination. It will be mandatory for appearing candidates to carry the admit card along with the valid Photo Id at exam center.

JNU 2025 Answer Key

The authority will publish the JNU 2025 answer key in the first week of April 2025. It will be accessible through online mode only. There will be no requirement to enter the login credentials to check answer key. It will be available in the form of PDF on the website. It will consist with correct answers to all the asked questions in the exam.

The authority will release the UG & PG answer keys separately on the website. Candidates will be able to calculate their probable scores in the entrance exam using answer key. JNU 2025 Result

The JNU 2025 result will be released in the fourth week of April 2025 for CUET UG exam and first week of May 2025 for CUET PG exam. Those appeared candidates in the entrance examination will download the result. Candidates will be required to visit the website of authority to access the result.

Candidates will be required to use their login credentials such as application number and date of birth in the given space. Those qualified candidates in the exam will be called to participate in the counselling session.

JNU 2025 Counselling

The authority will organize a counselling procedure for qualified candidates only. The JNU 2025 counselling will be organized through offline mode for all the shortlisted candidates. After the release of merit list, shortlisted candidates will be called to participate in the counselling session.

From the third week of July 2025, the counselling procedure will be commenced. During this session, there will be various steps organized such as verification of documents, payment of admission fee, registration, etc. University will verify the original documents of the candidates to provided admission. After completing the payment of admission fees & verification of documents, the admission will be given to the candidates.
