OUAT 2022 Intimation cum-Rank card of UG spot counselling has been released. PG Counselling Registration has been started from 1st December 2022 via offline mode. Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT) is a university level entrance exam conducted for the candidates seeking admission in Agriculture courses. Through this exam the admission will be provided into UG & PG courses. Qualified candidates of this examination will get admission in various offered courses at OUAT and its affiliated institutions. OUAT 2022 Answer Key

The Answer Key is released by the authority after few weeks from the completion of exam. Authority releases the answer key for every registered candidate individually through online mode. It releases separately for both UG & PG courses. It is released on 31st October 2022 for PG courses.

Candidates can download their responses for UG courses from 23rd till 26th September 2022. The candidates can also raise challenge or objection against answer key till the last date. To raise objection, candidates have to submit Rs. 200/- per questions.

OUAT 2022 Merit list

The Merit list has been prepared by the authority after few weeks from the examination. Authority prepare the merit list on the basis of candidate’s performances in the entrance examination. Candidates can check their merit list from the 19th October 2022 for UG courses through online mode.

OUAT Merit list 2022 consists of candidate’s rank in the entrance examination. It has been released on 22nd November 2022 for PG courses. The intimation- cum rank card has been released on 25th November 2022. 

Authority prepare the merit list on the basis of candidates marks in the HSC, SC and Entrance examination. The method of preparing the merit list is as follows:

OUAT 2022 Counselling

OUAT Counselling procedure 2022 has been started by the authority through offline mode only. Authority conducts the OUAT counselling procedure for every successfully qualified candidate from the entrance examination. Candidates can register themselves for the counselling procedure from the 1st November 2022 for UG courses. It has been started from 1st December 2022 for PG courses.

The counselling process is conducted in the various rounds as per the availability of seats after each round of counselling. The seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of their rank in the merit list.

Candidates also have to bring the following documents at the time of counselling for document verification round:

• OUAT 2022 Rank Card
• Medical fitness certificate
• 10th & 12^th Mark sheet & Certificate
• Permanent Residence certificate
• Passport size photographs
• Permanent residential

OUAT 2022 Application Form

Following are the complete details with some key instructions regarding the OUAT 2022 Application Form:

• The Application Form-A UG has been released from 21st May 2022 through online mode.
• Candidates must confirm their eligibility before applying for the examination as only eligible candidates are allowed to submit the application form.
• Candidates are allowed to edit form A till 30th June 2022 along with submission of form.
• Candidates must fill the application form very carefully as any alteration in details can cause rejection of application form.
• Authority has also provided the correction facility to the candidates for rectify their mistakes in the application form.
• The OUAT Application Form-A correction facility can be done along with application form submission.
• Candidates must submit their application form-A before 30th June 2022 as no candidates are allowed to submit after prescribed date.
• The OUAT Application Form-B for UG courses can be filled from 27th July till 2nd September 2022.
• The OUAT PG Registration can be done from 12th August till 16th September 2022.
• The application form for OUAT PG is editable till the last date of form submission.
• Candidates are advised to keep the printout of filled application form and fee receipt for future references.

Application Fee:

• The Application Fee for every candidate is Rs. 1500/-.
• Candidates can pay application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking Payment gateways.
• The Application Fee is non-refundable at any circumstances.

OUAT Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc. (Hons.)/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Horticulture:

• Age limit: Candidate’s age must be more than 17 years old as on 31/12/22.
• Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 intermediate or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
• Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 50% Marks (40% Marks as reserved category) to be eligible for admission.
• Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as mandatory subjects.
• Appearing: Appearing candidates can also apply for the admission procedure.

B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering):

• Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 intermediate or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
• Subject: Candidates must have PCM as mandatory subjects to be eligible for admission.
• Marks: Applying candidates must score at least 50% marks (40% for reserved category) to be eligible for the examination.

M.Sc. (Mathematics)

• Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate must have passed his/her B.Sc degree with Science from a recognized Board or University.
• Qualifying subjects: Candidates must have passed his/her B.Sc degree in Science with Honors in Mathematics/ Sc (Hons)/Major/Core in Mathematics and computing subjects.
• Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates must have obtained minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Hons/Major/Core subjects (For ST/SC/PwD candidates – 45%).

M.Sc. (Microbiology)

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her B.Sc degree with Science/ B. Sc (Horticulture)/B. Sc (Ag.)/B.V. Sc. & A.H/B.F.Sc. /B. Tech (Dairy Science/Biotechnology) B.H.M.S. from a recognized Board or University.
• Qualifying subjects: Candidates must have passed his/her B.Sc degree in Science with Honors/Core in Botany / Zoology / Microbiology/ Biotechnology.
• Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates must have obtained minimum aggregate of 55% marks in aggregate (For ST/SC/PwD candidates – 45% in Honors subject).

OUAT 2022 Admit Card

The Admit Card has been released by the authority after few weeks from the completion of registration process. Authority has released the admit card for every registered candidate individually through online mode.

Candidates can download their admit card from 25th July 2022 for UG courses. It has been made available from 13th October 2022 for PG courses. The Admit Card is an important document to be carried out on the day of examination as no candidates are allowed to participate in the exam without valid admit card.

 OUAT 2022 Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: The examination will be conducted through online (Computer Based) mode only.
• Medium: The medium for the questions paper will be English.
• Questions: The question paper will be consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Exam Duration: Total 2 hours will be allotted to the candidates for solving the question paper.
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will consist of 1 mark. There is no negative marking.
