State exam

In Patna, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE 2016) is a state level entrance exam is being conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. This examination is conducted for admission in various professional courses in different Engineering colleges under the Govt. of Bihar. But, in some (IITs) colleges JEE Main 2016 is also accepted.

B.Tech Admission 2016

The BCECE 2016 is the main exam, which is organized for Patna B.Tech Admission 2016. All the Candidates who want to take admission in the government and private engineering colleges can apply for BCECE 2016 or JEE Main. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech courses are mentioned below:

• The candidates who are appearing for the exam must have passed in Class 12^th from the Patna State Board or from a recognized board, with at least 50% aggregate.
• For the reserved category, there are some relaxations given in % according to the norms of govt.
• The candidates should have passed the exam of BCECE/ JEE Main.
• The candidates who are appearing for intermediate exams are also capable for BCECE /JEE Main 2016 exam.
• The candidates must have studied Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology/ Computer Science as non compulsory subjects.

Selection process

For admissions to various engineering colleges of Patna in B.Tech courses the candidate must have given BCECE or JEE Main exam, the seat allotment of colleges will be done through the counselling. The candidates have to fill the information & complete their documents verification. They have to register online along with the roll number and fill the colleges as per their choices. The seat allotment will be completely based on the merit list of the BCECE or JEE Main exam. The candidates have to submit their admission form, documents and fee in the applicable time.
